I went to Sandvlei with colleagues for our Team Building at the day visit area, the place is boring as hell. You have to park outside of the area where you are gathering and walk your way in. We were the only people there and we has a small music box that had to be silenced due to the opposite residents living there and that was not good. The place is clean and well looked after but my experience and this is the second time, first time I hated it too, but we had music, we had alcohol, we had our vehicles parked inside and this was a year ago. Now I told myself to forget this place. It was festive season and we were the only people around. That should say something.

Was nice clean relaxing but only one female toilet in use it put me of trees for shades grass went out with our congregation

Always windy and cold here so dress warmly if you don't like the cold. Great play area for the kids and walk your dogs. The view across the vlei is spectacular and further down you can bring yohr meat, salad and slap together a braai.

Always pleasant but all water sport stopped due to water pollution..very few birds were seen and no Egyptian geese..so sad.

Mostly pretty and a good place to walk dogs. However some of the water has scum in it which didn't always look overly healthy....

Lovely area to walk and be your self but disgusted with the amount of filth around the water edge and smell . The city should be ashamed..

Bit windy but very peaceful. Felt safe and had alot of parking. I would defn recommend it for walking the dog

I like going here but the municipality could do more with the up keep of this beautiful area. So much rubbish everywhere.

Peaceful on calm days. Get out on the water or take a walk. It's safe but toilets could be better maintained
