Tried a Nando‘s for the first time. And yeah, it’s a good exotic way of fastfood. Not the standard stuff like McDonald’s or KFC. Here you get various chickens and several sides. Also many vegetarian dishes available. There are three types of hotness: tomato, hot and extra hot. I’ve chosen hot and … yeah, it was really hot! We came back a second time. They use real plates and cutlery instead of plastic!

If you have a big family then this is the perfect place for a quick, affordable meal (R50 per person). You can never go wrong with chicken 🍗 👌 every kid will finish their food Just be cautious of the seagulls 😂 after the waiter brought our order the gulls 🦅 tried to swoop in & grab chips off our plate (Jersey seagulls do the same thing 🍟 😂)

They cook chicken far better than my local nandos which is @ Jubillee mall in Hammanskraal, their meat is scrumptious and when cut there's not even a single piece missing, and the casa pap is amazing.... Also noticed that the stuff are happy, the manager is doing a great job in taking care of the staff, like the old saying that goes "happy staff, happy clients, I noticed a few of them eating meals from their outlet which seemed like they get a meal allowance and that never happens in most restaurants where I'm from around Pretoria, having worked in a fast food outlet myself in my younger years (chicken licken) you'd go hungry while working with food, and if seen eating something from the store you'd be persecuted and end up being fired for "stealing", so big ups to the management of V&A Nandos, keep your stuff happy and they'll keep customers coming back! And oh! By the way, I first visited in April and came back again on the 2nd of Nov for the hospitality, way much better than the spur I went to!

I visited the Nando’s at V&A Waterfront this evening and purchased a plant-based hot pot with rice with extra pineapple and roll. After getting hope, I took a bite of the food and realised that I was chewing on real chicken, even though there is “Plant Based” sticker on the hot pot. As a vegan I am utterly disgusted! These corporations are happy to jump on the trendy plant based band wagon, but clearly don’t have any processes in place to ensure that the plant-based food is kept separate and that it is confirmed before placing a sticker on a box. I have friends that have had this same issue at other branches and it is clearly not something that Nando’s Head Office is taking seriously. Stay away!

The food was delicous!! The chicken was flame grilled perfectly as the chicken was still moist and not dry. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Will definitely come back !!

Nice meal, but have a small place you find it difficult to get a place to sit and enjoy your meal.

Ordered a hotpot which contain 95% pup and 5% gravy, phoned and spoke to Muneer he kindly assisted and made a new hot pot without a hassle and this all took place in 5/10min. Thank you so much for the great service, few places in the food court should learn from Nando’s .

The cashier was so friendly and even made some jokes. This is what you call great customer service. The wait was mot that long, and the food was amazing as always. Definitely recommend. We ordered takeaways. However, they have their own seating separate from the rest of the food court, which is great for that cozy feeling. Will visit again and sit down next time.

It is wonderful experience, I am happy they have various selection for vegetarian food. I was order avo & halloumi bowl, I like the strips it is very delicious.

The food was great and the waiters were accommodating when needing to order extra side dishes.

One of the best Nandos in Cape Town. Service is fast and food is great. Not to mention the great atmosphere created in the food court.

Food was great the outside sitting area very run down but is the mall management not doing maintenance and placing rat poison traps all over outside area aswell as Dustin's for food court

Came just before the lunch time rush which was nice as had super quick service! Friendly staff and delicious food (as per standard with Nandos) Slightly pricey compared to local restaurants and small businesses, but you know what you can expect with a large global company.

The service was okay, we didn't wait long for our food. The food was also great except for the over spiced chips on one of the plates, my poor brother couldn't even enjoy the chips because they were too spiced.

Had an interesting experience being treated like actual rubbish by their manager Naju, don’t know if she has anything against people of colour or Muslims or mothers with their babies, it’s pathetic beyond words. 7 stars to Annaleigh though who is an absolute sweetheart and went out of her way with her service and kind treatment. Never returning to this Nando’s nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

I work in Waterfront and me and my colleague always order Nandos, you are always efficient the food always taste great the staff very friendly even though the food industry can be very draining. Thank you for all your hard work we appreciate each and every one of you.

Nandos what can i say. I always get what i expect. Waited a little longer than normal but they were busy. Still a favourite for peri peri chicken. Till next time.
