Relatively protected beach , except when on shore winds and Full Moon high tide have waves coming in strong. Ample parking off season ,and beach gets extremely busy during holiday season

Perfect beach to let your dog run off the lead. Never had an incident. Beach feels safe and is clean in the mornings and evenings. Public toilets are decent.

Most beautiful little beach on the West Coast

There are a few park benches to sit on while taking in the beauty of the coastline. I really enjoyed myself there. It's a great place to take a walk or just sit and eat ice cream. Plenty of parking too. Lots of rocks and the water is cold so I wouldn't consider this if you're looking for somewhere to go swimming.

Although a lovely beach and one which many do cold water therapy at etc - the City Of Cape Town do need to do more to combat the rubbish coming into this bay - heavy penalties should also ensue on ships and harbour areas for littering/dumping their rubbish out at sea as it destroys our beautiful coastline..

Although the beach is cold it’s located in a lovely secluded area with amazing views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The beach is close to a few restaurants such as On the rocks and Ons Huisie. There’s a pathway for those who love jogging or simply love taking strolls and pets are allowed. The beach is such an amazing place to catch the most beautiful sunsets and there are benches everywhere to have a seat and take in the beautiful experience.

Best place where you can take your dogs and kids. I take my Jack Russel to this beach daily. Sand is not soft / dry so it won't blow in my dog's eyes.
