😠 In what world is that milkshake "tall". Very disappointing considering price. If you're going to charge premium prices either make premium milkshakes or give decent quantity. People often mention good, service, coffee, Great, menu, staff, breakfast, vegan,

Great vegan menu! First time seeing it at a Knead. Delicious & extremely substantial vegan chicken mayo toastie. Definitely one to try if in the area.

Beautiful setting with views of the Mountain. 2020 madness has limited the pastry variety but it was all good.

Although their food is very nice we went there especially to use our Entertainer app. Once we wanted to pay they told us that we cannot use the app at the moment so we had to pay full price. I understand that times are tough but it is for everyone. They should at least inform you before the time or put up a sign saying that it is unavailable at the moment.

The food is good, but the restaurant is beginning to look a bit shabby and needs to be spruced up a bit.

A great spot for vegans! You can swap to a vegan protein from most dishes. I had incredibly good avo sourdough toast with lemon-basil pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, rocket, peppers and the most delicious vegan 'danish feta'. So zesty and fresh. Yum!

We had Eggs Benedict (I had their gluten-free bread which appeared to be a low carb, banting style bread) food was well priced (if you have the early bird special before 8:30am) staff were competent but not especially friendly. Overall it was a good experience and I'll probably be back.

We tried items off the quite extensive vegan menu. Mixed results as the southern fried chicken burger was good while the chickpea scramble needed a little help and lots of olive oil.

Sunday morning brekky with good coffee and freshly baked bread. Get's a bit busy, which is a good sign.

Decent spot for a quick bite or to catch up with friends. The centre usually has good easy access parking which is a bonus. As it is a bakery the smell of fresh bread is wonderful and they have a nice range of baked goods. Limited menu if you are on a carb free diet but then a bakery is probably not a great place to go anyway. Small but cozy inside area, and a lovely outside area perfect for good weather. We were disappointed to have to wait for a table even though we had booked although it was raining and so it was a bit tok cold to sit outside where tables were available. Some of the menu items like muffins and scones were sold out for the day which was also a let down.

An incredibly chilled environment for a quick cup of coffee or an all day work session. Great food that can be on the pricey side but the service and quality of meals or snacks from the bakey are definitely worth it.

5 stars for the vegan options. The service was a little slow, but the food is worth the wait. Love all of the plant-based meals on the menu. They bake their own sourdough bread which is also a must-try for taking home with you!

Meh... not what it used to be in my experience. The menu is overly complicated and difficult to read, various symbols all of the show. V, V+, V-, M, and so it goes on. Variations, specials, time limited items all squashed into one A3 laminated piece of paper. Had fried chicken which was ok until about an hour later when I was glued to the toilet for the rest of the evening. Vanilla milkshake is basically a glass of soft serve ice cream, no effort to do anything else. Not going back.

Always drop in here for a cuppa and pastry whenever we are nearby. Attentive service and I love pizza and hot soup from here too.

The place a tops for afternoon coffee/tea or for a relaxed meal. It's a very small shopping centre but I like the atmosphere. We ordered regular size milkshake but the regular size is a kiddies size spur glass. Coffee was OK but croissant was not fresh. Overall its a nice place.

For a bakery their baked goods were really subpar and left much to be desired. The service was really slow, to be understood on a Saturday morning, but definitely something they need work on. I think it's popular because of their location and probably their other breakfast items I saw other customers ordering. Wouldn't be on my top list of cafe/bakerys to visit.

Sunday morning 21/02/2021 Extremely unhelpful manager, advertises a breakfast menu on a Sunday that is meant for weekdays only and when questioned about it he just dodges me. The restaurant also needs some cleaning.

Hopefully this was a once off experience. Been going there weekly since lockdown and has been great. Today it took extremely long for my order after being forgotten and then being charged the wrong amount after 3 weeks the same order went up 100% which the person said was correct. They were running around and confused, there was no order and when confronted the guy in charge just lied. No apology just saying we opened yesterday.

I've always been a fan on Knead Bakery pastries and coffee, but this was the first time I sat down for a meal. They open fairly early if you want to catch a nice early breakfast, while most others cafes / restaurants are still closed. Our meals were well presented, delicious and served hot. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They have quite a nice selection of meals for breakfast / brunch / lunch etc. They are based in Palmyra Junction which also has easily accessible free parking.

My partner and I went to the Knead Bakery in Palymra Junction in Claremont, Cape Town. I ordered an eggs Benedict and it got served with egg shells in it. Which I found very disgusting and ruined my appetite. Our waiter told the manager and the manager was extremely rude to us telling us it wasn’t a big deal. An apology would have sufficed but I feel it was racially motivated and would not recommend that Knead to people of color.
