Honestly I love this place. I come here often by myself and with my husband. The staff are lovely. The food is delicious and the aesthetic is super pretty. They also have a little makeshift store inside. I usually get the Eggs. Be. Licious but I’ve had the yogurt bowl and some other items from the food menu. Obviously I’ve had hot coffees, teas, and freshly pressed juices. It’s wonderful. If I lived closer I’d probably be a regular. Overall this place doesn’t disappoint, it’s a must try in Cape Town.

This is definitely a place you'd want to share with friends and family, it's that good. I love that it feels like home. The open kitchen gives you an opportunity to see how organised their food prep really is, with a menu that is so simple yet absolutely delicious. This is a foodies haven because you'll enjoy tasting freshly made food that is prepared to perfection under the watchful eyes of chefs who honour their trade in every ingredient they prepare. Whether it's a breakfast or lunch you're enjoying, you'll be back for more.

Went with friends for a year end gathering. Was very busy, so do book in advance. My fruit yoghurt bowl was absolutely delicious, but the three other dishes were not quite up to our expectations. They were quite plain and the display of the dishes did not reflect the prices on the bill that well. A little disappointed for that, but good otherwise.

Delightfully appointed café, bakery and deli catering for a variety of diets including vegetarians and gluten free meals. The staff are attentive. My gin was unforgettable!

I had the chicken stack and it was just brilliant. So unique too- I’ve never seen that on a menu and we eat out most meals. (The only thing I can fault is too much of a good thing!) The burger is huge and juicy & tasty. The scones are delicious - we had it with lemon curd and vanilla cream (with real vanilla). They are light and fluffy.

Four & Twenty lives up to expectations as one of the best all-day breakfast spots in Cape Town. The staff are friendly and welcoming, matched only by the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere and delicious food. Food portions are generous, and prepared by talented chefs; to the best of my knowledge, Four & Twenty uses organic and sustainably sourced ingredients. Note that the price of items are higher than what you might expect for the area, however, it's certainly worth it as Four & Twenty delivers in both taste and quality. Exceptional!

I visited this cozy cafe on a rainy afternoon and I really enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive and courteous, and the coffee was delicious. I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate muffin, and they were both fresh and satisfying. The cafe had accessible parking and comfortable seats. I enjoyed my time there and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack.

I have been coming to Four & Twenty for years, and I have always had a tremendous experience! Love the venue in Chelsea Wynberg. It does get busy though, and no wonder, the food is absolutely delicious, and the pastries are Devine! Highly recommend the Eggs Be-Lean (the mushroom rosti is my favourite!). Thank you to the Four & Twenty team for always going above and beyond! Looking forward to my next meal 😋

Superb coffee, best muffins in Cape Town (but you have to get there early because they are the first thing to sell out), and wonderful staff.

A first time for the worst experience at a restaurant, truly unkind staff, who kept reminding us that we have to leave at 11 every time they brought out an order, even as we just sat down, while other tables around us received quality service, ours was questionable and definitely not worth the overpriced food. Will not be going back

I almost do not want to leave this review about this gem tucked away in Chelsea Village. It is "my" spot! ❤ This is one of my favourite spots when I am in Cape Town. The food is always delicious and the ambiance fabulous. The back terrace is divine!

One of the nicer and cozier breakfast joints i've been too in Cape Town. For those not from the Southern Suburbs, it's worth a drive out. Along with the good food is a very enthusiastic and complimentary staff force. We had their hot chocolate and a selection from their poached eggs. I cant remember the name exactly but it was very satisfying.

We received a very warm welcome from one of the employees of the cafe and the necessary safety precautions were taken before being seated. Four & Twenty is a brunch favourite amongst locals as it was already full to the brim at 10 AM. The interior is somewhat vintage but the cafe overall has a warm and calming vibe. They have a variety of sweet and savory eats as well as plenty of vegetarian options. I would definitely recommend it. There is a park accross from the cafe so you could opt for a picnic on a warm day

Quaint themed cafe style eatery opposite Maynard Park. Food is flawless and waitrons polite. Points lost for speed of service. Took awhile to be asked if we are ready to order and took longer than expected to come out of the kitchen. Excused though because it was reasonably busy. Another point lost for value for money. It is expensive for what you get.

Expensive and food is a let down, but great baked items: I've heard wonderful things about this little café and I was pretty disappointed after coming here for brunch for the first time. The coffee and cakes are on point, but the eggs benedict that I had was very average. The hollandaise had an odd taste to it (aniseed-like?) and the bread (ciabatta - which looked more like sourdough) just doesn't complement the rest of the components well (just use English muffins...). The bacon is oddly sweet and despite being dark brown, not crisp at all. The worst part of it all was having to pay R400 for a two person breakfast that wasn't particularly good.

Nestled in leafy Wynberg, this is the best eggs benedict place in Cape Town. They also serve a wide variety of health juices and drinks. Good quality cutlery too. Its truly a one of a kind.

I enjoyed the personal attention, friendly and patient staff. I only had a glass of wine so I can't say much if anything abt the food. It's a lovely getaway though from the busy Wynberg main road.

Had a cappuccino and a bacon and cheese muffin. Nicely served with caramelized onions and beetroot and orange. Very, very tasty. Lovely staff. Definitely going back.

Worst service ever. I left Four and Twenty irate and hungry after my husband and I waited 40 mins for our food - this while everyone else who came after us (some even groups) got served. I also noticed that those groups and people being served were of another race while my husband and I are interracial. My drinks were out of stock but each time I ordered them, I only got told after 10 mins they weren’t available. Staff should tell patrons upfront what they don’t have/isn’t on the menu. When we left they made no attempt to try and keep us or fix the situation. I called the manager who offered a complimentary meal but after such a horrid experience, I will never return.

I remember this place so different... My eggs benedict cost 78+38burn bacon+14 extra chili... I order green juice ... come in a water glass .... I did pay 160 rand include 10% tip...

As a South African from Pretoria, we were advised to buy the best local fish cakes, but will definitely not buy again, as it didn’t even taste like a fish cake and they are green inside. They are also extremely expensive for what you get. Maybe this is what fish cakes cost in Cape Town, but very disappointed.

Perfect early morning birthday celebration breakfast venue of choice! Food impeccably served and delicious, as always, with a top of the morning, fabulous waiter - Randoll - adding the necessary flair and service with a smile!

Really cool spot. Coffee was perfect. Menu looked amazing, as did the freshly baked bread and cakes, but sadly we did not get a chance to eat. Fridges filled with local produce and meat. All in all a great idea and great place. Highly reccomend if you are in the area.

The oriental eggs are just amazing ! The iced mocha was so rich and delicious. Highly recommend the rock shandy as well. The only reason it is not a 5/5 was a menu hiccup, as well as no gluten free bread options. The Apple tart was very dry as well. I LOOOOVE this place for breakfast though.

Came here because I saw great reviews. Place itself seems really nice, but once we got seated we waited 20mins and not attended to at all. Ended up walking out and even that went unnoticed. They were not busy so no idea why we never got service. Won't be seeing again. Sad because it does seem like a nice place.
