It's a tiny peice of beach and (like the name says) a good place to come, sit and watch the sun go down. Swimming is not recommended as there are no lifeguards on duty, but it's open to dog-walking and people gather in the evening - some to watch the sunset, other to relax after a run, and others to sit and write Google reviews. The vibe is fun, relaxed and safe. Steps take you down to the beach, but wheelchair users can also enjoy the experience from the promenade. There is also a bench to enjoy the views.

Sunset Beach is part of my usual running route along the promenade. I always try to squeeze in a mid-way coffee at the pavilion (Icezeit) before heading back to where ai came from.

Stroll or jog along the promenade. Parks for the little ones. Restless sea, one day calm next day crashing waves. Landing place for hang gliders from the mountain in the background.

It's a favourite spot for my 2 border collies. Sometimes peaceful, sometimes unavoidably social - but always fun! Water and sand can bring out the kid in all of us, and free the spirit. Enjoy!

If you want to just unwind especially in the middle of the week, with less people this is the spot. Beautiful views facing the Southern Atlantic. You could sit by the rocks during low tide and enjoy the sea breeze. I am sure during the week it is also less busy during sunset. The place is not far from Sea Point Pavilion.

We took a drive see the Sunset beach myself and My Boss Mr.Nagia..I can proudly say Wow...we started at Wembley roadhouse get something to eat, grab some drinks and hit the road. We got there just before sunset..and it was an amazing experience..have you ever been to a place where someone was always telling you about and you found it to be more than what the actual thing they explained .that was my experience today..hey you all need to see for yourselves...

A must visit for locals and travellers, a exotic balance of rough shorelines with prime properties on steep mountains

A really refreshing place to visit. Especially during lockdown. Grab an empty bench and watch the waves whilst the sun shines onto your face and skin.Fairly safe as well however always be aware of your surroundings since it's a busy walking/jogging path.
