Truly
on
the
better
beaches
in
Cape
Town
and
it
has
multiple
facilities
on
site
to
ensure
that
you
have
a
good
time
and
especially,
that
you
are
kept
safe.
Even
during
popular
times,
you
can
always
find
your
own
little
spot
on
this
beach
as
it
is
very
long
(but
Long
Beach
is
somewhere
else).
There
is
ample
parking
on
site
and
multiple
bathrooms
available.
Law
enforcement
offices
are
always
on
site
and
there
are
regular
patrols,
especially
during
the
peak
seasons.
There
have
been
shark
attacks
here
in
the
past
and
they
have
shark
spotters
available
as
well
the
notification
flags.
There's
also
a
handy
explanation
on
what
the
flags
mean.
From
November
to
March,
from
9am
to
5pm,
they
put
the
shark
net
out,
and
from
April
to
October,
the
nets
put
out
on
weekend
and
public
holidays,
also
from
9-5.
There
are
lifeguards
on
duty
and
actively
monitoring
the
surf.
As
you
can
see
from
the
pics,
the
sands
(yes,
not
snow)
is
an
indicator
that
it
can
get
very
windy
(mostly
from
about
September
to
February)
but
there
are
spot
you
can
find
that
are
pretty
protected
from
the
wind.
Great
place
to
swim,
relax,
take
a
walk
and
have
a
good
time.
