The Last Word Long Beach was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The rooms were beautifully spacious with lovely decor, views were stunning, dinner and breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend a stay there! Thank you to Jackie and the team for thoroughly spoiling us.

Amazing service, amazing views, amazing experience. Went here for our 10 year Anniversary and felt very spoilt and pampered. Staff are so friendly, sweet and helpful. We really appreciated that it is a small boutique hotel and thus a more tailored experience for each guest.

Jackie and her staff are absolutely the difference makers and there is no special requests unfulfilled. The accommodation are only 6 well appointed and thought out guestrooms with every creature comfort you would expect from a five-star boutique anywhere in the world. Not only do you have one of the most magnificent views, and a wonderful beach, to watch surfers, and the four-legged friends but the main dining/lounge and ocean front patio offer a setting that instantly sets you at ease. We were so pleased with our stay at the last word, and are excited to return in the future. Wow - what a special place to say on our South Africa Honeymoon. A truly beautiful hotel and room, only exceeded by the wonderful staff who did everything and more for us during our stay. The location and views are incredible, there's nothing quite like having a quiet meal in the evening with incredible long beach right infront of you. My mom and I stayed at this incredible place for 2 nights. It is absolutely beautiful, and provides all the bliss and relaxation you need. The food is phenomenal, with extra care and attention to detail on every plate. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing less that perfect, which it was. Will definitely be back.

During the last Holiday season, restrictions linked to Omicron COVID variant, obliged me upon return to put myself in a 10 day quarantine. I was so looking forward to my trip to South Africa and due to these exceptional circumstances, the Last Word Long beach managed to reimburse entirely my reservation, despite a no refund policy. I thought that was such an elegant and fair move from management that I cannot wait to go there and actually enjoy their hospitality. So few hotels have this kind of spirit during this health crisis and I just wanted to point it. Thank you again Widad and Taryn.

Absolutely beautiful. The views are priceless, the beach is with white sand and great for daily walks. The service is amazing. Kim the manager is the most accommodating person who makes sure all your needs are met. Kim is amazing with kids. The Last Word alongside Kim makes this stay one to remember. The reason for missing a star is only because some maintenance is needed. I would come back here any day.

The view is breath taking. The atmosphere is perfect. Excellent hosts and staff, they go out their way to accomodate all you needs. The breakfast and dinner is top class. The family room are beautifull and spacious. Thank you for a perfect holiday!

What a perfect two nights stay. The weather was perfect and the view from our elegant suite (room 5) was spectacular. The rate included breakfast, dinner and house wines, which I would have been happy to pay for at any restaurant, so all round good value for money. A definite 98 out of 100. Wow! Perfect location - in fact it's very hard to beat, on the edge of a quiet beach, views of Hout Bay in the distance. Comfortable verandah to enjoy a drink while the sun sets in front of you. Delicious meals (thai mussel curry - must have!), gorgeous rooms & attentive staff - service on another level! Thank you Fanie, Jackie & team for making our anniversary so memorable with romantic turndowns etc. This is a MUST! You'll want to stay a while & keep going back! Well done!

Service was extraordinary, food and requests all above standard. Suite was beautiful and were able to enjoy dogs and surfers everyday while we relaxed from flights from West Coast USA before we traveled on for our week at Victoria Falls. It was literally perfect

Last Word Long Beach has such an relaxed atmosphere and listening to the ocean from the balcony or room, while enjoying a drink from the complementary gin bar made it even better. The breakfast and three course dinner was really good, so enjoyable and presented beautifully. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We are look forward to our next visit!
