The park is in a terrible state. The staff very rude and need to be trained no human relation. The lady so called manager is disgutingly rude and doesnt know how to address the residance. Tells lies and makes up stories about the people thats not in her little click. She choses a person and she will pick on that person and make your life hell. I wonder what munipality will say if they know she allows a certain person to run his bussiness out of the camp. But when you give gifts then you part of her click. She just doesnt know that most of the other people even those that she thinks is her friends and sit an gossip with her, they laugh and gossip behind her back. So yes ask me I stayed there foe 9 terrible months. Really wont recommend the park at all. You not safe there no security. They only have guys at the gate with no training at all. There were a couple of break ins and valubles stollen and nothing was done about it. Also one off her click guys attacked someone she saw it and nothing was done. My husband witnessed the whole attack and when he said to the guy he will be his wittness. THATS when the so called manager started victomizing him and threated to evict him. Knowing myself I would not give her the satisfaction so we just moved.

Very nice place All facilities are beautifully kept and sparkling The place is surprisingly quiet even though there are it is wedged between two very very busy roads You do however hear distant sounds of aircrafts and trains There is some permanent folks camping there and most is middle aged and elderly Hardly any kids so it don't feel like a resort with all noises and activities associated with a resort Has a small park as the only activity for kids No swimming pool that's why I only gave it a four star and not a five They could also do with better braai facilities on each plot Plots has electricity and water available

Hardekraaltjie is a municipal caravan park in the heart of Belville. Clean and neat with lots of hot water in the ablutions. A number of permanent campers stay here. They also have some wooden shacks (wendy houses) and a few caravans to let. Not a holiday destination but nice and central for a business or medical visit.

We made booking on arrival security guard was not at gate. Waited booked in and was dissapointed seeing what happend to this once charming place. Please do some upgrading and look after your place. We decided to leave and for R50 more a night rather booked into a hotel.

For the price the ablution could be a whole lot better and toilet paper available. It seems like there is only one trash can per block and when you need it you can't find it. The bottom part of the camp is very noisy with the highway and train tracks right next to the premesis. Very strict rules and regulations as if it is a retirement centre. You can't try to walk barefeet due to thorns. On a positive note the park is clean and has tar roads to the stands, there is a childrens play park available but they are only allowed to play under adult supervision.
