No one else around the manager then comes and says we only watch big sports games, with no polite way...and then TV was switched off... Not impressed with the customer service at all... The Management is highly professional yet friendly. It feels like home away from home. The chef's Greek salad is my favourite. I like the fact that I can also watch football on their flat screen TV whenever I need to catch up while eating.

Stumbled into this spot on a search for the best burger in Cape Town; safe to say my mission was accomplished. Not only was it the best burger in Cape Town, but the best burger of my entire life. Hands down. Excellent service from Mariana made the experience all the richer. I was apprehensive at the small menu because I like a lot of options especially when it comes to choosing veg dishes but the burgers we tried packed so much power that there was absolutely no need for further options. Standouts: CBD infused R&R cocktail, truffle mayo, crispy folded fries. Please do yourselves a favour and RUN to this spot next time you’re craving a burger.

Loved my burger I had here. The space was extremely busy and due to them having a small kitchen it took a little while for the burger to arrive but the food is rock solid and well worth the wait. The staff are very friendly with expert knowledge of the products they serve. I will definitely be back.

Amazing burgers, cooked perfectly. The “build your own burger” is a great idea and the staff were so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. They had great suggestions too, and the beer and wine was delicious. Onion rings could do with a bit more batter to make them better though. Would definitely recommend.

Burgers & toppings can be "built" 2 Ur own taste. Place stays open till late.. closes around 23.00 p.m. it is a safe neighbourhood 2 walk around. They are also licensed

Went in on a rainy Sunday, we were the only people in there but I thought since it’s new maybe it’s just that. Sadly, with no tea on the menu (at all 😲) or any other hot drinks besides coffee, we decided to head somewhere else. The drinks menu is overall very limited and the mocktails that the waitress was proud to offer were really just lemonade or fruit juice. As a non-drinker I don’t mind there being no options besides soft drinks but that was a bit odd 😂 Looking across the road the other places were busy (as was the one we moved to) so we can’t blame the weather for the quietness. Hopefully in time some more hot drinks are added to the menu. Some Heineken 0 wouldn’t hurt either :)

Visited the new revamp spot last night. Now known as ‘Only Fools’. It was a decent experience. The restaurant is very small but I really like that. The menu is the same with only 3 burger options and a few sides available. The food was tasty but I felt overpriced. The burgers aren’t big and sides are not included with a burger. Although a small spot, only having 1 chef and 1 other staff member who was doing front of house, waitressing and bartending meant that there was a long wait in between things. Nice experience but wouldn’t go back for now. Definitely better value for money spots available. Would be curious to see how it develops as it grows though!

Had a really disappointing experience here recently. My three friends had the beef burger, and their burgers were so severely undercooked that they were red and bleeding into the buns. I had the vegetarian burger, which tasted unpleasantly sweet and sugary. The waitress was very friendly and understanding, but I think the vibe and service here is far better than the food.

I popped into only fools to get a quick burger and we also grabbed a couple of sides. I grabbed the vegan burger, the patty tasted surprisingly meaty and was quite thick. The burger had just some mayo and red onion and could have benefitted from more garnish but was good overall. When it came to the sides rhe bowl of wedges were great, they were light and crisp and it was a generous portion size. But the chilli pops was the show stopper. They were sliced smoked jalapeños filled with cheese served with a flavourful tomato sauce. The smokiness of the jalapeños was incredible and is a dish which I absolutely loved. Worth going there just for this.

Shocking service! I see other people posting about one being treated like it’s a privilege to eat here. They have TVs and just straight up refused to put soccer on for the near zero clients in the restaurant. Our friends went ahead of us and they were refused, so we called afterwards to see if we could persuade them (without any swearing).It's the equivalent of having all the materials for making tea, but only serving coffee even when the client asks for it. They basically gave us the middle finger, because they have a bias for certain kinds of sports and prefer to have an empty bar rather than make a small accommodation for a potential client.

Poor service and terrible food. The restaurant had none of the ingredients requested for one of the burgers and the waiters did not seem to have any knowledge of their own menu. Unfortunately we were left with food poisoning as well. Would not recommend.

Really good burger joint with lots of options to to truly create your own burger. From the fried egg to the patty. Lots of flavor. The only downside was the extreme amount of bread given. I tossed one of the buns and enjoyed it better with a knife and fork. The chips(fries) were really good, but I should’ve tried the fried onion rings. The beers were refreshing and washed ever down smoothly. I would recommend Craft Birger to anyone visiting Sea Point.
