If there can be bins located nearby for the beach users to keep the place clean and stop littering. If not, get law enforcers to ensure that environment is kept clean.

I was surprised when I walked into this shop for what I found, a beautiful book store. Stunning location for reading books. Nice parking place, so no need to worry about parking your car. Tha beach water is cold so don't say I didn't tell you, if you decided to go and take a swim.

A must see!! Do check the tide before visiting as the beach practically disappears during high tide an don't forget to bring a beach umbrella as there is no shade!

Gordons Bay In general is a beautiful place with beautiful, friendly people. The beach and shoreline is stunning. Bikini Beach is very popular as it is the centre of everything happening in Gordons Bay. We have the harbour, that can be seen from Bikini Beach and many restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops, a bookshops, cafes, etc. people can be seen catching fish a bit closer to the harbour and on the jetty. We often(as many others do) go for walks along the beach and on the paved way especially intended for walking and jogging folks. The one thing that I don’t like(hence the 4⭐️) are the beggars and vagrants that are becoming a problem. On the one hand I feel sorry for them but it becomes a problem when you feel frightened and intimidated, as I and many I know, also does. When this happens, i now no longer feel safe or carefree on the beach as I used to. I feel there should be more signs indicating that loitering is not allowed as well as enforcement of the no litter rule as well.

This beach is beautiful. Nature is beautiful. There are many shops close to the beach. They have life guards. There is an amazing crafts dude in the parking. Worth going there. Great place to swim and have fun. Look at the pictures and tell me it is not worth the drive..

A great little beach... We have been coming here with our kids many times over and over again. The waves here can be rough but the beach itself is generally clean and well kept. If you come later in the day you might struggle to find parking place and even sitting place on the beach during the December holidays. The best is the come either early in the morning or late in the afternoon. It is not advisable for small kids to swim here unsupervised. The waves can be rather big and forceful.

I absolutely love this beach. The water is a bit colder than usual at the moment but I still enjoy it. Parking is an issue so try to go early or park in the parking lot about 100m down.

Every time I went to this beach the sun was out and the wind was quiet. Some shade along the one stretch of beach. Showers to shower off any unwanted sand. Public toilets are clean - just the bit of water on the floor as expected. Life guards on duty. Swimming for kids is great, seeing as the beach is small and you can see them from where you are sitting. Would definitely visit again

I am quite disappointed with this beach. The beach is relatively small and could do with a bit more sand and water and waves. The rocks look alright but could do with some work. They look too artificial and like big bricks. Otherwise, great time driving past.

A small section of beach that's tucked away on the other side of the harbour from the main Gordon's Bay beach. Usually quiet, as there has been several times I'm the only one on the beach at sunset.

Good place to spend time with the familie. Its a clean beach and neat, if the water drainage pipe could just be hidden and the toilets fixed a little better this would be a prime beach with alot of walking space and grass to sit on close to the sea. I will keep visiting this place.

An intimate little beach. Well-sheltered from the wind, with pristine sand. The public showers were clean, with sufficient benches on the sidewalk.

One of my preferred beaches in Cape Town. The sea water is warmers than other parts of Cape Town, the beach is not directly exposed to the south east wind and is secluded enough from the crowds.

A lovely spot to swim, even in the rain! The beach is also great for picnics, lounging, and beach sports. There are amazing views in all directions, including false bay, the old harbour, majestic mountains and cliffs.

Location From Harmony Park Beach, continue straight along the road, until you pass Harbour Island, and take a right turn at the BP petrol station on to Beach road again. Surrounding Area There is a well known seafood take aways called Trawlers, you have to eat there if you are going to Gordon's Bay. other attractions include the Old Mall, novelty shops, a book shop and other restaurants. The Beach I arrived there when it was high tide and the water was this milky blue shine, which was very cool looking. The water depth changed almost instantly from shallow to waist height, but manageable and not to rough of a beach. There was however barely any places to sit on the beach as the water took most of the beach away, but there is the grass area to relax on and also the parking area is just opposite the beach, There was a few floating seaweed thingies floating by, but nothing to slimy or creepy looking, I would recommend going in the early afternoon just to get this high tide waters. Very exclusive, not much parking so the beach is never overcrowded which is a good thing. The water is always lovely and you'll be very close to the harbour should you need refreshments. Just a great beach
