It's a great restaurant in a beautiful secure setting on the shore of a lake. It's inside a private estate so it is very secure. The manicured lawns and walkways around the lake are a real treat. There is a sprawling lawn for children to play on between the lake and restaurant. The restrooms are clean, new and nice. Tables are far apart. The food is excellent and the service is prompt and friendly. It is such a pleasant experience. Sunsets over the lake are beautiful. It's really quite a find

Simple, good restaurant, fast, friendly service. Everyone has to test the beer themselves, I prefer Windhoek drought, it doesn't exist, switch to wine, red. Pinotage. There are delicious, changing special offers, burgers and pizza. Great prices for 2 people! Will be announced on the website. Absolutely great location, with the best views of Estate Lake and CT and False Bay. Outside and inside terrace!

The waiter was very friendly and looked after us very nicely. The views was amazing, this is a nice place to kick back and relax.

The food is great, but the service is awful. Been a couple of times and every time has to wait over an hour for 2 burgers. The place wasn't even full. The food was hot and tasty, but it's like they have 1 kitchen staff member doing his/her best on their own trying to cook for an entire restaurant. When I complained I got blank stares and lip service... Once is a bad day, twice is a coincidence, but 3 times in a row is consistency, consistently bad...

I'm coming back here and telling everyone about it. The view, the food the atmosphere was all on point!!!! When last did I give full stars?!

This place is awesome for kids aged 4 - 10. They're entertained for hours, running around in the beautiful garden and playing in the sand. It's safe as well. The bathrooms are CLEAN and there are lots of toilets. Everything modern, the pizzas and nachos are DELISH and value for money! Beer tasting at R45/paddle. Parking is safe since the restaurant is inside a security complex. Highly recommend.

My first time great service and love the atmosphere

So I had my birthday here on Thursday! Everyone had an amazing time. Friendly and helpful staff. The Manager is hands on and does a great job! They have specials on weekdays & weekends. Delicious food and spectacular views. So go ahead and make your reservation. You won’t be disappointed! 👍

A lovely and very relaxing setting overlooking Somerset Lakes. The tapas was excellent and the Sunday roast also very good; all very reasonably priced. We were served by Ruth, a very helpful and knowledgeable waitress. We highly recommend this place.

The welcoming was not really good , we were welcomed by a female waiter( she's a slender with long/ big earings I can't recall her name) , she was unfriendly and a bit of attitude towards us. The service was a bit slow(both drinks and food), other than that everything was good( food taste and the view).

The Service level is none. Waited 15 min then i went to look for a waiter. After ordered our drinks and food. Another 15 min went pass still no drinks. Then the waiter a new one came to ask if i would like boerewors or pork sausage. Still no drinks had to ask again. When food arrived there was only half our order. When i asked they said they forgot. This is not the first time i went there and experience this level of service. I left it previously but surely their staff should be better trained.

Great view and the food is really nice too. Service is slow though. It feels like the staff prefers hiding in the kitchen rather than to help customers.

In all fairness , lovely view. Beer is fresh. Highly disappointed that the cauliflower starter had 7 pieces of popcorn… I have been to other branches and the portion size is much larger. Wanted to order lunch but waiter nowhere to be found. Took a long time to even get someone to bring us the bill.

The lime milkshake was so thick. I don't know how it was able to maintain its consistency for so long! I loved it. One of my new favourite flavours to try. Didn't like the Eagle-something beer. But I'm not a beer fan in general so don't take my word for it. 😅 The person I gave the beer to did like it though. So, there's that. 💁🏾‍♂️ I have eaten so many pizzas and the Californian that I ordered was so perfectly done! 👌🏾 The avos on it definitely went to private school! 🤌🏾 The wait times were a bit long though and they had enough staff. So many different waiters came to check if we needed anything more which was lovely. I think maybe they should staff more chefs? I mean it was so full. 👀 Also, I don't know if it was only cause of loadshedding but there was minimal light outside. All they brought for those sitting outside was candles! 😭 I hope they mitigate this a bit better, cause I see a lot of success for them in the future (especially the food 😍) but they can improve do much better in the service part.

I popped in after work for a quick snack and a craft beer and was met with an upper-class experience. Waiters are trained, layout and decor makes you feel like royalty. I had a kebab that literally melted off the stick. I would really recommend this venue to management for corporate year end functions.

A pleasant, pub type restaurant in the Somerset Lakes complex. Their pizzas were unfortunately not made with mozzarella cheese, as stated on their menu. From a disability point of view, the restaurant Haas been well planned with an access ramp and a good accessible bathroom. The bathroom door, however, is difficult to open.

Had such a lovely time with my kids last night. Beautiful location, friendliest staff and Manager. Burger was meaty and freshly prepared. Best of All was the honesty of our friendly waitress Ruth. I overpaid the bill with R50 and she had her colleague run to our car to give it back.. wow! What honesty and integrity shown..She could have taken it for an extra tip..but nevermind, we'll be back soon to reward her. Keep it up Saggy Stone!

Really bad service. The coleslaw with my burger was non existent, not sure what I did you desserve no salad. They didn't have enough glasses for everything i ordered. Waitress had a terrible attitude. Recieved my food 2 hours after i arrived. I was told they don't make cocktails despite having a stocked bar.

I would have given 5 stars the past few months we came to the restaurant - but for some reason Head Office decided to make the Tapas Portion of Chicken Strips R69 for 3 strips and NO chips… Total ripoff. Not Saggy Lakes’ fault. Head Office - do better!

Lovely views out over the bay, especially at sunset. Try to get a table overlooking the lake to get the best sunsets. The pizza was good, the desserts great, as was the wine selection.

Aside from the gorgeous views and satisfactory food, this restaurant leaves so much to be desired. Food took long to arrive (with only 5 tables filled when we arrived) and our waiter did not smile once!! Waiter did not introduce himself, got our drinks order wrong and seemed VERY annoyed when I asked him to correct it. Could be a great restaurant but I feel the lack of competition within Somerset Lakes has caused them to become comfortable and stagnant.

A wonderful venue with really great beers and food. It's especially lovely to sit outside on a warm day.
