I
went
over
the
weekend
to
Saray.
It
is
a
fully
halaal
restaurant
with
and
outdoor
and
indooor.
The
outdoors
I
covered
and
has
heaters
and
blankets
in
winter.
It
has
a
smoking
and
non
smoking
section.
I
would
also
highly
recommend
that
you
make
a
reservation
for
good
seating.
The
menu
has
quite
a
few
options.
The
platter
are
very
worthwhile
but
I
unfortunately
could
not
try
them
as
they
kebabs
were
mixed
lamb
and
beef.
I
don’t
eat
beef
for
religious
reasons.
When
asked
to
swop
it
out
even
for
something
cheaper
they
refused
and
said
no
exchanges
could
be
made,
which
was
a
bit
disappointing.
In
the
end
I
ordered
the
cheese
pida,
which
was
a
generous
size
and
delicious.
We
also
ordered
the
chicken
and
mushroom
pida
which
was
as
equally
delicious.
For
mains
we
ordered
the
lamb
chops
which
came
with
chips,
rice
and
a
roti
type
of
bread.
The
lamb
could
have
done
with
more
basting
and
trimming
so
there
was
less
fat
but
enjoyable.
We
also
ordered
the
chicken
thighs,
this
was
really
value
for
money
as
it
come
with
a
salad,
bread,
rice
and
chips.
Basically
it
was
almost
a
whole
chicken
and
was
so
nice
and
moist.
The
passion
fruit
mocktail
was
delicious.
We
also
ordered
the
apple
tea
which
I
also
enjoyed.
For
dessert
I
was
so
eager
to
taste
the
Kunefe,
it
was
one
of
the
things
I
wasn’t
able
to
taste
when
I
was
in
Turkey
so
I
was
really
excited.
To
my
dismay
I
didn’t
now
enjoy
it
at
all.
I
know
it’s
a
cheese
dessert
but
I
thought
dessert
cheese
would
be
used
and
it
would
not
taste
so
savoury.
I
had
to
use
the
ice
cream
to
mask
the
flavour.
I’m
guessing
it’s
an
acquired
taste.
Plus
the
waitress
said
it
was
like
baked
cheesecake.
It
was
absolutely
not.
If
I
had
know
I
would
have
ordered
something
else.
