Lovely place to just spend a day out with family and friends. Love the cold ocean water and the soft sea sand.

Always been my favourite beach. Clean and lovely white sand. Due to the recent high swell, there is lots of kelp on the beach and the water has a yellowish colour. Should clear soon.

Lovely beach. Not so many people. Not so fancy (only one restaurant) Also not so windig. You can do surfing. Have a massage on the beach. And also just laying in the sun. Really nice in the evening for sunset.

All the Clifton beaches are connected so you can walk down to 4th and walk the whole length and end up at Clifton 1st . Beach is nice and clean, but the water is freezing lol.

Clifton beaches are undoubtedly the best of the jewels and gifts that Cape Town offers to the public. This is the reason that you don't need to have opulent mansions here. Bungalows are all that are required. The natural beauty and siren allure makes this the self-fulfilling destination for sun worshippers.

Downside: it was crowded, festive season I guess. The upside: people from all races where interacting with no discrimination whatsoever. A True reflection of the rainbow nation

This soft white sand beach is very beautiful, definitely a must visit in Cape Town Two things i don’t like: traffic to and from the beach can be nightmare during the summer season and teenagers drinking, smoking and playing loud music on the beach Apart from this the beach is lovely and secluded, perfect for a morning outing, a day out with family or just to watch the sunset

Beautyfull spot with les wind then other spots. Great view with the big rocks in the water. Due to the ocean side the water is cold tho, but some Nice waves to bodyboard to the beach using only yourself!

No place to buy food or beverages. You would think for a beach that popular there would be more than the guys walking around selling small cans of coca cola for R25!!

Awesome spot as always, not for finding peace and quiet, but a beach filled with people and a great social vibe. Toilets were very clean and beach had umbrella and chairs for hire as well as drinks and ice creams to buy (remember to take cash) Lifeguards were very attentive and controlled the crowed well

Clifton Beach is so tranquil, clean and it feels so "private"! If the water was warmer, I most probably would spend time floating in the shallow waters amongst the rocks for hours. Clifton is never a disappointment. Parking may be a challenge on weekends and holidays.

Greatest beach in this part of the coast. Less windy, calmer waters, great showers and restrooms. Great view of the mountains behind

The bathrooms are kept clean, there were lifeguards on duty, visibly seen and in the waters as well.. The beach was also very clean and safe with patrols done.. Definitely one of the top beach spots

😠 What a shocking experience. Went there on Sunday evening, the service and food was nothing short of laughable. We had to ask to order twice, ordered our drinks 15 minutes before the food and yet the drinks only came with the food after more than half an hour after we ordered the food. The worst par...
