One of our most beautiful public spaces. Gets crowded during season. But this is life. Everyone must enjoy our facilities.

After 2 years of Covid-19 shutdown...it was so refreshing to be back in the pool...I didn't even worry to be on the queue to get it...I've longed for that water for so long...it felt Magical

The Sea Point Pavilion has been a feature of the Cape Town Atlantic board sealing since the 1950's. The swimming pool originally started as a tidal pool which was refreshed by the sea, it gradually evolved into one large swimming pool, and then was further divided into three smaller pools. The star of the show is the 50m Olympic size pool being the main offspring of the original tidal pool. There is also a diving pool with a 5m diving board. The water is still sourced from the sea but is circulated, filtered and treated with minimal chlorine levels. The pools are open to the public, requiring each entrant to pay a nominal amount. Currently the entire planet is subject to Covid-19 restrictions, therefore access is subject to the conditions. The pavilion also contains the smaller adjacent community area with shops and other businesses always welcoming customers. The pavilion is a vibrant part of the coastline.. Will definitely welcome a few move generations to come 😊

This is one of myvall time favourite places whenever I feel like to have a short walk/jog or want to get fresh feeli ng. Absolutely love this Pavillion and the beautiful artwork displayed along the walkway. There is a sea-view for miles and a great place to bike along or even rent a scooter to cover a greater distance. There are some stalls for a quick snack and really good ice cream too. Scenic and wonderful. Yoj gonna love this place.

The place is beautiful, but once you're in you can't go out and buy food. And the shops inside are expensive

Amazing pool(s) right on the waterfront. We went just before closing and the light was out of this world. Long pool perfect for doing lengths.

Great place for young and old and very affordable entrance fees! Green lawns to sit down and big enough pools, so that you can still swim even on a busy day.

I've been to quite a few public pools in Cape Town and so far Sea Point Pavilion Pools tops them all. As there is an amazing sight view right next to the venue, and sun set view that also is and attraction to thee eye. It would give the venue more style if the grass and sand can be removed and artificial grass installed at the venue...

Excellent place for a stroll along the promenade. Perfect in just about any weather, with lots to do and see for young and old. Enjoy the views, listen to the sounds of the waves and seagulls and kids, get some ice cream, play some putt putt (mini golf),view the artworks on display, rent a bike /electric scooter… or just sit down and enjoy a peach :)

What a lovely time we had at the pools! Super clean venue, friendly staff. Only 1 problem, they didnt have oxygen on hand when my 2 year old niece had an asthma attack. The oxygen tank was empty and the life guards couldnt administer oxygen. So they called an ambulance who then took her to Somerset hospital after an hours wait. Couldve been a bad situation.

It was quite windy and the water was quite cold. The jumping boards were closed as usual and the tuckshop had a very poor selection. Can be a worthwhile way to spend a summers day with family if not windy and not overcrowded.
