So considerate to place us near the park for the kids to play. Security patrols regularly made us feel very safe. The breakfast buffet was awesome and room service in the evening with some really amazing desserts. I would recommend the Belgium Rocky Road...stayed for 3 nights and were allowed to have visitors. Great service

what is turning in an absolute nightmare with neighbors allowed to make live a living hell. drinking , music and noise day and night. Still like see see any effort to ensure the "peace and tranquility " advertised and what quests suppose to agree to when they book in. Simply no enforcement of any rules in what is a very special piece of paradise with one of the most amazing locations on the beach you can dream of. Can only hope it the anti social behavior gets under control so eveyone get to enjoy some peace and tranquility.

I didn't stay here but clearly this is a worthy destination place as I have a friend who lives in the same complex/village where the hotel is housed. The cabana beach rooms are near the ocean. The hotel itself is quite strategically located and the beach is amazing. What I love about the hotel is that its lush and is environmental conscious trying to regrow the beach area. The restuarant is also great. Quite pricy but its worth it!

Pleasantly surprised at the size of the rooms. Situated just off Blaauberg this is a very nicely located destination with all one needs in a self catering place.

Friendly Staff, nice spacious unit, but was in need of some serious renewal... Door to bathroom couldn't close, loads of peeling on cabinetry etc. Definitely not 4 star and overpriced for what you get.

The room had an amazing view of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The employees were all helpful and pleasant. Also the room was large and clean. In addition the restaurant was very good, the breakfast every morning was a highlight. Was the perfect hotel for my needs and exceeded my expectations.

The bookings here are easy to make as the staff are on top of things. The rooms are child friendly and you can see that the hotel have made an effort to modernise the rooms. We had an inverter in our room to counter the loadshedding and the rooms were spacious and of course the view was fantastic. On the weekend the Kite surfers are righ5 there to colour and make a beach walk memorable. The hotel being so close to the beach is amazing for surfers, swimmers and kids. The area feels safe and is conveniently located, for getting food and other amenities that are needed. This hotel is definitely worth your time and expense.

Room was impeccably clean and smelled amazing, also much much bigger than anticipated - pics online do not do it justice. Good, strong wifi. Staff were exceptional, so friendly! And the included buffet breakfast ticked every box and then some. We are so sad to only stay one night, we would have been happy to stay a week! Will definitely be back. Family with 1 baby & a child, stayed in a sea facing apartment.

Enjoy their buffet breakfast. Lovely variety, from the fresh fruits to the tasty bacon. Staff are always on point and helpful.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Beach Hotel but I cannot say it lives upto a 4 star rating. The carpet in the room (room 9) needs to be upgraded. It is broken around the edges into the rooms. The ceiling fan is about to come off it's hinges. Cannot switch it on in fear it will fly off. Breakfast delicious but tablecloth had little holes on it. Overall hotel needs an upgrade. The doors to the rooms are very 90's and decor is old fashioned. Friendly staff. Excellent sea views.

A beautiful location and a very comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt well taken care of while we were here. The view from the rooms is spectacular, particularly ocean facing, and the beach is a minute’s walk away. The breakfast buffet was another highlight with a great selection of delicious food, and the dinner menu was excellent as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Got food poisoning at a function. Management thinks guests can smell cigarette smoke through closed windows. Not a single manager came to look if guests was happy with service and food. Some dishes came with no rice when it arrived it smelled off. There is parking for kite surfers not secure parking for security at gate bad attitude I've never met a person that looked so unhappy with his job.

    I was attending a wedding there. What was impressive about this place was that the whole wedding took place on this premmises.The wedding took place in a beautifull garden at the back of the hotel a green lawn with the beach and table mountain behind it. What a view wow amazing. We eat inside the hotel and their food was very tasteful. The rooms available their had a little kichen with all nessesary kitchen apliances, bedroom with doublebed;

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at Dolphin Beach Hotel. It has wonderful views of Table Mountain and the ocean, the hotel is located right next to the beach, so it is just a short stroll to the sand dunes in the morning. The section of the beach in front of the hotel feels very private and adds to the experience. I must also mention the Blowfish Restaurant, the meals there are absolutely delicious. Thank you to the hotel manager and staff who were very accommodating.

Great view if one books the sea view option. However they have to update the air-conditioning in the rooms as all one gets is a roof fan making Summer nights close to unbearable. The television only has 14 channels and no Usb port. Besides these pet peeves the experience was great.

Food average, waiters, well that didn't happen, I had to go find them to place orders. Asked for gluten free meal, and when the mussels arrived thr waiter confirmed it was, but the next day my wife was not feeling well which means they put gluten in the mussels sauce. Shocking

Unit we occupied is so old. Not a cent spent. View great . Bathrooms old taps leak. Shower so dangerous. Dstv wasnt working when we moved in. Disconnect between what we paid and what we got. Complex needs a good clean and maintenance.

Very good breakfast, good value for money. Venue itself needs a bit of upgrading but fully understand the pressures and economical challenges of Covid. Good job, owner Leanne and team.

absolutely awesome at the cabanas. great for families that prefer self catering. Blowfish resturant is a bit pricey but really excellent value for money for all the meals. Buffet Breakfasts are great as well. The pool was unfortunately closed due to covid but the beautiful beaches and playground definately made up for it.

Pros: view on Table Mountain. Direct access to the beach. Cons: the breakfast was probably the least tasty we ever had at any accomodation. sorry to say.

We stayed in one of the bungalows next to the beach and it was good. The hostel is right by the beach, which has mostly soft white sand. You will meet (walk past) a whole bunch of surfer dudes and surfer dad's since this beach is good for wind surfing. The place is generally clean, and well maintained. There is a play area for kids. But it is a bit of an old design.
