There
is
no
doubt
that
the
location
is
a
good
one.
But
unfortunately
your
total
experience
doesn't
stop
with
the
view!
So
we
were
firstly
allocated
a
room
that
did
not
have
sea
views,
which
was
totally
acceptable
as
the
booking
we
made
on
the
Friday,
was
an
"off-the-cuff"
one,
and
we
did
have
a
booking
for
a
Seaview
room
for
the
Saturday,
so
it
was
something
to
look
forward
to.
The
first
room
we
were
booked
into...was
not
"a
crowd
pleaser"...
*and
here
is
why
I
say
this;
It
over-looks
the
guesthouse
parking
area
(
which
isn't
the
real
issue),
the
entrance
gate
that
opens
and
shuts
to
let
guests
in
and
out...riding/
or
those
walking,
was
the
big
issue.
Its
very
noisy
when
in
action,
and
also
busy.
We
found
ourselves
with
very
few
peaceful
moments
(
also
going
into
the
late
night
and
early
hours
of
the
morning)
which
we
found
unacceptable
and
annoying.
So
watch
out
for
this
if
you
do
consider
staying
there.(
ask
room
location).
There
also
happened
to
be
a
wedding
at
the
Guesthouse
on
the
Friday
(*which
we
were
not
made
aware
of
when
we
made
our
booking-so
watch
out
for
this
point,
its
an
important
question
to
ask,
especially
if
you
are
thinking
of
booking
ahead
of
your
function,
or
on
holiday*)...so
sadly
on
the
Friday,
we
were
not
able
to
use
the
guesthouse's
public
area
as
it
was
settup
for
the
wedding
(
we
were
confined
to
our
room-
if
I
knew
that
there
was
a
wedding,
I
really
would
have
booked
a
seaside
apartment
somewhere
else).
If
my
memory
serves
me
well,
the
guesthouse
has
a
policy
of
no
noise
after
9
or
10pm....*well
this
policy
was
not
enforced!!!
*The
wedding
crowd
was
loud,
and
noisy...gathering
below
our
balcony
to
continue
their
festivities
later
in
the
eve,
and
before
reving
and
taking
off
in
their
vehicles...(only
for
some
of
them
to
return
later
and
continue
being
noisy
outside
and
inside,
and
into
the
early
hours
of
the
morning).
Don't
get
me
wrong,
Im
very
happy
for
the
bridal
party,
it
is
a
happy
occasion
for
them...but
not
at
the
cost
of
the
paying
guests,
its
just
wrong,
and
it
should
be
addressed
properly
by
at
least
having
someone
on
duty
throughout
the
night
(
someone
visible).
I
totally
blame
the
Guesthouse
management
team
that
were
on-duty
that
evening-
but
there
was
no
one
around
to
complain
to-not
even
a
night
watchman!
Which
begs
the
question,
was
there
even
any
security-
I
didn't
see
any???
There
was
no
one
visiable
to
complain
to,
not
even
a
night
watchman...its
a
real
big
concern,
especially
with
the
beach
being
a
public
area
and
there
is
nothing
securing
the
house
from
the
beach.
At
the
breakfast
table
the
next
morning
we
sat
opposite
a
lady
who
actually
complained
about
the
noise
to
one
of
the
staff
members,
(the
staff
member's
attitude
was
not
negative,
but
more
of
"Its
done
now,
so
you
will
need
to
get
over
it
now".
Thats
when
I
decided
it
won't
make
a
difference
if
we
complain
as
well,
it
wasn't
going
to
go
further
than
the
table
we
sat
at.
But
as
a
Wedding
Supplier
and
Blogger,
I
could
make
a
difference
by
sharing
what
I
experienced
and
let
potential
guests
know
what
could
possibly
happen
if
they
don't
ask
the
correct
questions
when
booking
their
holiday
or
wedding.
Getting
back
to
the
room/s....I
found
in
both
rooms,
the
bathroom
floors
were
very
tacky...it
seriously
needed
more
than
a
splash-from-a-mop,
it
needs
some
real
attention-
I
didn't
want
to
walk
bare
foot
on
them,
plus
our
rooms
TV
didn't
work...surely
these
things
are
checked
before
people
book
into
the
room?
I
also
did
not
enjoy
the
view
of
the
washing
line
with
all
the
rags...surely
the
Guesthouse
can
find
a
spot
out
of
the
view
of
guests?
It
just
isn't
very
classy.l
