Great fun and well priced. Some tricky points for 4x2 vehicles so go with a friend and a two rope. Need to take your own food and drinks so if you forget does become a problem.

This place is a must is you want to have fun outdoors. We went there for introduction to 4x4 off road experience. The instructor is a very funny, knowledgeable guy with lots of experience. He really enjoyed the training. We were served cooked lunch, which is nice after all the trainings. The obstacles are little scary to newbies like me but gives a good introduction of what can happen when driving off road.

Quad biking was awesome and so worth it for a family fun day out. The guide was great and made sure no one got left behind. This is something that is definitely worth the money to experience with the family - great memories!

Quite an enjoyable off road trail - various quick challenges: sand, mud, etc. We also had beautiful weather.

Off road 4x4 tracking at Melkbos 4x4 is an amazing experience! They cater for most terrain and the track was conducive to what we wished to achieve! Melkbos 4x4 is very rustic so ensure that you are prepared, other than that great venue for training offroad or terrain training for beginners!

The course isn't rigged for very extreme driving. It's quite straightforward, but in some areas it seems dodgy. There are people staying on the premises and there's always some other activity going on. The food from the venue was good and no complaints on service. The track can just do with more maintenance.

Our first teambuilding as a new team. We were quite keen for an adventure and fun packed day. Many thanks to Hendrik. Spot on with his friendly customer service and prompt responses to all our questions. Dawie our host, was quite entertaining with his "Campfire stories". The team felt quite at home and it was easy to relax and get comfortable. Elona and her kitchen team prepared a delicious spread for us. Braai, salads and desserts + a home made "braaibroodjie" with home made jam. Unexpected and most appreciated. On behalf of my team and DOS, I would like to thank everybody from the braai masters, kitchen ladies, hosts and our trail guide for making our day most comfortable and enjoyable to the fullest.

Came here for an end year work function. We were served a mixed braai grill buffet. The meat was really well done and the salads were tasty too. The host was entertaining and pleasent. Later we rode quad bikes on a fairly entertaining track. The track is good for beginners and was quite a nice long ride. The track offers some thrills to the moderately skilled too. I don't think it will be that entertaining for advanced 4x4 drivers but it's not too badly priced. Overall an enjoyable experience

Newbie to 4x4'ing. Had a a lekker tiea the Bakgat course. Simple enough to complete without experience. Nice course. Went a bit on the harder course with steeper inclines. Most of the course is deep sand and low range is needed. Certain sections require Diff Lock otherwise you will not move. 1 bar tyre pressure works great as it is mostly loose sand. Will definitely be back. Would be nice if there was a signage map of the tracks before entry but otherwise quite difficult to get lost.

Really cool activity for the whole family, route felt a little short for the thrill seekers but was more than enough for me(not much of an adrenaline junkie)

Hi what's the correct contact number for this place? And are we still allowed to come with our own quad bikes as we use to back in the day or is this unfortunately gone fully corporate???

Great experience, but they are very negligent. They do not have big size helmets so they offer bicycle helmets, which do not cover the face, to some riders. My friend fell and injured her face severely. With a proper helmet, the injury could have been avoided.

There was a confusion with the booking, but the owner was very professional and resolved the issue fast. As for the experience, it was good. Don't underestimate how challenging it is, but it's still a worthwhile experience to enjoy

An awesome experience lots of fun. I would 100% recommend. Quads are well maintained, I would just advise people to take a pair of glasses or goggles because of the sand that gets into your eyes.

We were there just yesterday for our year end celebration. It was really the best way for our business to celebrate. The catering was very tasty and enough and tastefully displayed. The lapa is the perfect space weather wise. Even with 4 hours of loadshedding. The quad bike ride was soooooooooo much fun with the guides knowing their job perfectly. Looking out for all the riders. You can't go wrong. This was our second time there and definitely not the last time.
