Slabber se Klippe is a rock formation jutting out of the sand demarkating the northern edge of Melkbosstrand's popular main beach. You'll often find the odd fisher man angling or children exploring the rocks and looking at kelp, mussles and limpets. North of the rocks, dogs can be let off their leashes and there is a 3.5km stretch of firm, wide, white beach to walk along. You'll find surfers and kite surfers in small groups dotted along this fantastic walk, and if you time it just right you can have the sun on one side and the moon on the other while breathing the fresh sea air.

Slabber se Klippe is a section of beach in Melkbos. It is quiet and prestine. You can walk your dog peacefully, enjoy a romantic walk on the breach front, or do a photo shoot with the one you treasure. Sunset is awesome and when youre done with enjoying your me time you can walk across the road for supper at one of the resturants.

Open beach area, surrounded by rock outcrop, perfect for children with rock pools, fish and sand banks for bucket and spade play. Parking area close by and short distance to push pram/ walk, over soft sand .

This is one of my favorite beaches ever. A safe spot for you and your dog to come for a peaceful walk. Not too crowded on a normal weekend, but public holidays can get a lot busier, then you might struggle to find parking.

Nice beach to have a peaceful relaxing walk. Not overcrowded like other beaches. Beach is in close proximity to some lovely restaurants on what I think is Beach road. Great for families but also adequate for couples. Try to go there...

Excellent beach for todlers who enjoy playing in the sand as well as exploring small rockpools. The waves stay relatively small which makes it save and a lot of fun for the kids to play in the wake. The beach is pet friendly, but be careful for animal litter where careless owners didn't pickup after their dogs. Parking is limited, but directly next to the beach.
