πŸ‘ What a little gem. Beautiful, clean, well maintained, safe park. Well paved waking paths with a little waterfall, beautiful plants and trees, lots of canals and artwork scattered around the park. There is also a big playground for the kids and a nice place to have picnics. Also dog friendly. Bigges... What a little gem. Beautiful, clean, well maintained, safe park. Well paved waking paths with a little waterfall, beautiful plants and trees, lots of canals and artwork scattered around the park. There is also a big playground for the kids and a nice place to have picnics. Also dog friendly. Biggest negative is the parking is limited to only 30 minutes, but it is enough time if you only want to complete the walking path. I suggest you park at Canal Walk or take the My City bus that stops very close to the park, if you want to spend more time there.

My pictures don't do justice to the man made creations. From a mini waterfall to walkways, jungle gyms, bridges to cross, rocks to climb and sooooooo much more. This is a perfect spot to have a picnic with friends and family. It's clean and neat. We had a ride on the tram too

Ratanga Park is still under major development but open to the public. Flora is not established so no shade to laze under, walking trails are not complete as yet but ample space to explore. Just went out to have a sneak peek and it will definitely be a beautiful park for a Sunday picnic. Kiddes play ground under construction as well!

Ratanga Park is a lovely place for a picnic and is perfect for the kids. There is a tram that takes you around Canal Walk, which is a fun little experience, taking you back to the days when trams were popular. It is exceptionally aesthetic and clean. The park is also used for concerts and other activities. It has an art tour as well. Check it out!

Beautiful new addition to the Cape Town park scene. It exists where the former amusement park (Ratanga Junction) was housed. Beautifully reclaimed land. The park consists of clean walkways, water body, some beautiful fauna and flora. A lot of beautiful grass, some swings and cameras ensure that the whole experience is safe. Note, there is still a lot of construction nearby therefore you might run into some dust and noise.

Had a picnic here and it was lovely. The park has lots of beautiful views, especially the view of Table Mountain. There are a couple of small man-made waterfalls too. The pathways are nicely designed as well. Really enjoyed visiting the park. My only issue was finding parking, it was a bit difficult to figure out where the public parking was.

Lovely gem of a place. Safe, with security walking around. Perfect picnic place with ample spots for families with young children as there are a few play spots with swings, jungle gym etc. Free entry and close to many cafes, restaurants, etc at the back of the business area of canal walk. Absolutely loved the little tram "train" ride owned and run by the train maker of Winelands Light Rail (also a gem of a place in Stellenbosch). Definitely worth a day out again and again.

A Hidden gem. CCTV’s, Clean, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. Kids can bring their bikes and scooters for a nice ride along the pathway. Some gorgeous spots for pictures. A park/play area for kids. Gorgeous waterfalls. There were a few people having a picnic too. I will definitely be back.

Didn't see any bathroom facilities. But a very nice little park for the kids to play. Clean and well maintained. Be sure to hop onto the tram at the entrance for a little journey around Century City.

Great park, lovely for my toddler to ride his balance bike. Nice play area for kids with 2 sets of swings and 2 jungle gyms. One for smaller kids and one for bigger kids.

My favourite park in century city. This park is perfect for morning walks with family or friends. I am yet to have a picnic at this park but I am sure it is the perfect place to have a picnic. My favourite feature is the waterfall.

Just serene...a great place to meditate while surrounded by nature. I can hear the birds chirping, the sound of trees and a breeze reminding you just what a miracle it is to be alive.

What a beautiful little gem this is. A lovely place for a picnic or just a stroll in the park. With its water features, grassy banks and peaceful atmosphere, this place is going to be a hit on those sunny Cape Town days.

The park is always evolving and is extremely well layered out with sufficient open natural spaces ,an excellent open space of Century city to relax ,exercise or take a break .

We walked through this new park while doing the Parkrun Century City. It’s not finished but shows great potential. A great addition to the area and good use of the old Ratanga infrastructure.

Nice chilled place to take a morning stroll. Includes a small park for children and some nice scenery. Only challenge is the 30 minute limit on the free parking.

Cute little park. I have to say I thought it would be as big as Ratanga Junction was. It is a lot smaller, but it is definitely still a hidden gem. (On the topic of hidden we struggled to find the entrance the park is sort of situated behind the bridge water building. Entrance one is very close to the hills song church and entrance 2 you drive around the bridge water building.) The play area accommodates different ages, and there are many different little walkways to explore with your little ones. Be sure to pack a picnic as there are plenty of shady spots and beautiful views of the ponds. The park is also dog friendly to feel free to take your furry friend along. There are even stations set up with poop bags, so you can pick up when fluffy does his thing. (As a side note. The only thing we could not find was a loo)

Had a walk around the park last weekend for the first time. Its not complete yet but they are doing a great job. It looks lovely. Only 2 issues.....very limited parking at the entrances and it has a 30 minute limit, and not a bin in sight......not even at the entrances. You can take dogs but no bins for the poop bags. Definitely not taking that home in my car. πŸ™ˆ. Not sure who to contact but definitely think its something that needs to be provided.

So peaceful, even on a rainy day. Perfect place to take a walk and clear your head.

Visited for the first time today, the parts that are complete is beautiful, green grass and nice walking/running path, even small park for kids with swing and slide. I would not recommend people take kids their yet as we found lots of exposed wire and cabling which could cause injury. Once it's complete I'm sure it will be fabulous. Also no shops around so you have to stop around century city for coffee or water.

Beautiful small park to take the kids for a picnic, walk, bike/skateboard ride, or to play on the park. 2 parks for various ages and suitability for kids. Bags for dogs that need to relieve themselves. Needs a bit of maintenance as lots of dry grass in certain grassy areas and lots of cigarette butts laying around due to lack of adequate cigarette refuse containers. Some nice Crockery and water features adding to the tranquility. Open sunrise to sunset.

Such a great space to enjoy the sunshine, outdoors and tranquility. The gardens are still a work in progress, but still looks beautiful and very creative. The children's play area has a few special pieces, maybe a couple more things could be added. The water features are beautiful and creates such lovely sounds. Naturally the view of Table Mountain is magnificent. Parking is free but only allows for 30 minutes, which is not really enough for a leisurely walk and quiet picnic.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Nice park, it would be great if they could fence it in and turn it into a full off lead dog park like they have done with other parks around CPT.
