I
would
prefer
not
to
give
a
star
rating
for
this
hotel
at
all.
I
travel
a
lot
and
stay
in
mostly
4
or
5
star
hotels
but
aha
quayside
hotel
is
not
a
4star
hotel,
it’s
the
worst
hotel
I
have
experienced.
I
booked
for
4nights
and
wish
I
had
booked
just
one
night
or
never
booked
at
all.
Starting
from
check
in,
the
reception
lady
was
unwelcoming
I
think
cause
she
was
under
a
lot
of
pressure.
We
arrived
just
before
3pm
and
a
lot
of
guests
were
checking
in.
She
was
alone
at
the
front
desk,
checking
in
guests,
sanitising
the
place
and
answering
the
phone.
I
am
pregnant
and
desperately
needed
the
toilet,
the
hotel
doesn’t
have
a
front
desk
guests
toilet,
the
receptionist
had
to
quickly
give
me
our
room
key
so
I
can
go
pee
in
our
actual
room
which
was
a
bit
of
a
walk
away.
The
corridor
carpet
to
our
room
was
dirty
with
small
pieces
of
paper
on
the
floor.
When
we
walked
into
our
room
we
had
two
single
beds
given
to
us,
when
it
was
for
me
and
my
partner
and
I
had
emailed
clear
instructions
prior
to
arrival.
The
rooms
are
so
tinny,
the
single
beds
are
the
size
of
like
prison
beds.
Everything
is
just
small
about
this
hotel,
nothing
luxurious
or
any
selling
points
except
that
they
are
just
by
simonstown
waterfront.
I
clearly
asked
for
a
dust
free
room.
Our
room
was
not
dust
free,
there
was
dust
on
the
desk
and
chairs
and
the
wardrobe.
I
informed
the
receptionist
I
wasn’t
happy
and
she
offered
us
a
change
to
a
standard
mountain
room.
She
gave
me
a
key
to
go
view
the
room
(by
the
way
you
help
yourself
to
get
around
the
hotel,
no
one
took
us
to
this
room).
When
we
walked
into
this
standard
mountain
room
it
had
just
been
vacated
and
still
dirty.
I
asked
why
she
would
show
us
a
dirty
room
and
she
apologised
as
she
thought
it
was
clean.
Anyway
we
decided
to
keep
our
original
room
with
the
single
beds
and
asked
for
them
to
join
the
beds,
she
said
all
the
housekeeping
is
not
available
to
do
that
but
they
can
do
that
tomorrow
(the
next
day).
I
was
not
happy
with
that,
then
she
said
she
can
come
up
later
around
7pm
when
her
other
colleague
starts
work
to
help
us
pull
the
beds
together.
So
we
had
to
wait
till
night
time
for
our
beds
to
be
changed.
I
think
the
hotel
is
short
staffed
or
they
clearly
do
not
know
how
to
make
guests
comfortable
and
happy.
Our
anniversary
was
spoiled
as
this
was
the
reason
for
our
visit.
They
was
no
hotel
manager
or
general
manager
on
duty
to
speak
to
me
as
I
was
really
upset
and
needed
this
resolved.
Honestly,
I
wasted
my
time
and
money
booking
aha
quayside
hotel.
Please
DO
NOT
waste
your
money
on
this
property.
