The piercing process and jewellery collection are great. At this price point you would expect customer service to be a lot more on point, however. From recent promo's and ads placed, I believed that I would receive a "curated" piercing experience. The shop assistant knew very little about the jewellery or prices, was pretty obviously irritable that I kept asking her questions, and at no point advised me on what would look good together etc. This was despite booking ahead of time. Happy with the result, but not with the process.

Absolutely lovely people and place. Had my nose pierced by Gavin and he was the sweetest and most gentle human. Dealt with my indecisiveness like a champ and explained the process thoroughly and is just a wealth of knowledge on body mods. Quick and easy! Love my little nose hoop.

From the moment I walked into the shop my experience just kept getting better and better from the staff being so attentive and smiling and asking you how’s it going to them being intrigued by my custom bracelet I had on asking me the brand and etc…the jewellery is expensive but hey isn’t proper jewellery supposed to be that way… it was a real treat for me to be in this establishment and watching the crew at the back Brainstorming on what is the next big thing to the owner being involved and smiling at everyone…I had wanted to get a nose piercing done for so long but being afraid of the pain I never had the courage to do it but my gosh the girl who did it for me is super professional and is so attentive on what you want it’s so comforting.. she’s really great and so professional and I recommend anyone who wants real jewellery and professional piercings done almost pain free well look no further this is the place

Professional, clean, quick, painless and very interesting! My wife got her helix and third lobe piercing today at the Regent road Black Betty. The experience was everything you could hope for, it was extremely professional in choosing the jewellery and the entire process. All the equipment was extremely sterile and the piercings (done by hand) were so smooth, you'd think it was going through butter. Shelden took every step in her professionalism and kindness, we felt welcome and cared from the second we stepped into the shop. She is an excellent piercer, clearly with many years of experience, you can easily trust her. Definitely a go to for anything piercing related.

What a great store. Absolutely made my better halves birthday when she finally got her zapped bracelet. I just wish i knew there were two stores and the one in town doesn't show up on google maps yet so i unfortunately went to the wrong shop first. At least it made for a funny story 😂

Definitely the best jewellery and piercing studio in town. You get a really amazing experience from the moment you walk through the door, the staff is super friendly and the piercers are experienced and know exactly what their doing. I wouldn’t ever trust anyone else with my piercings after experiencing Black Betty!

As far as the service goes, it was really good. I got a nose piercing and the piercer was professional and patiently explained the process to me. Also, very clean overall. My only issue was the price of the jewelry which seemed rather excessive compared to market related pricing. Also, their website says they will give you saline solution to clean your piercing but I didn't receive any - maybe I misunderstood.

Loved it. Excellent service and great advice offered. Definitely worth every cent and will be going back again. After 2 months, my jewellery from Black Betty turned black. Is this normal? I took the earring out and replaced it with another one from another jewellery store. Very disappointing though after the great service I initially received, am now doubtful about quality of some of the jewelry now. Thanks so much Kristin for the response below and putting my mind at ease. I was really caught off guard and didn't even think of researching the cause. I will find the earring and attempt cleaning it and will let you know how it went. My bad, I thought it could have been caused by poor quality. Now I know better. You getting back to me is indicative of how much you care about your clients and that you hold your products in high esteem. I really appreciate it.

I was super nervous to get my nose pierced but they were amazing. From the second I walked in (clearly looking very afraid), they were super kind and were happy to talk me through the process. I walked out feeling confident and very happy with my piercing. Can highly recommend.
