Marissa is an excellent physiotherapist. She has a fun, friendly personality and the best sense of humour! Her exceptional drive to understand and treat the root cause of any problem is commendable. Marissa has the physical strength to really get into a muscle if needed and she does not shy away from techniques like manipulation therapy. She also does not seem to run out of ideas easily! I have visited Marissa over the years and she typically sorts out an issue quickly in a session or two. When I first visited Marissa this year, I felt quite broken and I was in a lot of pain, more than ever before. Marissa went the extra mile and she was there with me every step of the way to recovery. It is rare that we meet therapists who are so dedicated to their profession, cause and patients. I recently injured my back and Marissa took me from struggling to get out of bed, back to running inside of a week. Her immediate understanding of my condition, accurate and pinpoint manipulation and exercises that she recommended were exactly what was required to get me back on the road. Over and above her extreme professionalism Marissa’s affable personality left me completely at ease and even had me smiling and laughing through the pain on my initial consultations.
