We were here for our anniversary dinner and it was a perfect location. Great views and for the most part, really good service. The foot was very well prepared and presented and tasted great. The only gripe we had with the restaurant was the service was spotty. Instead of having one dedicated waiter, we had multiple, with some being a lot better than others. We we paid extra to have the wine pairing with the chef's menu but not all waiters knew anything about what they were serving us.

A stunning location on a 100Ha farm that has been built with nature and sustainability in mind. From the art gallery, to the international in door equestrian area, the attention to detail is amazing! We were luck to experience the new menu which was exceptional. The chef is a master of flavour as he makes use of uncommon ingredients that elevates each dish to the next level, but keeps the hero of each dish at the forefront of the palate. Ingredients like Buddha's lemon/hand and sun chokes are just two of the many other wonderful ingredients used. The service is exceptional and super attentive to your needs. We enjoy the meal, the experience and beautiful views! I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion, be a family dinner, a celebration, or even a romantic date night. What a fantastic experience. The staff, service, food, venue; all top notch! Would defnitely go back for the wine tasting experience. Ceviche starter sublime. Springbok main absolutely perfect; moist, tender & towards rare; the way it should be. And dessert; what can I say. Ordered white chocolate and black garlic (yes, you read correct) more out of curiosity than anything else, and oh my! It works; it works in a mesmorising way. Delicious! Buket list✔️

A standout feature was the 360 photo booth on the manicured lawns overlooking the dam and mountains, adding a unique touch to the magical occasion. Friendly staff. You are attended to by multiple staff members. Excellent customer services 👌. The food is great especially if you want to experiment or taste 😋 a number of different meals paired with wines. Great ambience as well. Beautiful scenery.

We went for the wine tasting. The tasting is in their huge, beautiful basement. They have good selections of wines. We went up to their restaurant and took photos of the gorgeous view of the vineyard and mountains. Their staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. I woul recommend the place.

This estate is quite unique in that the contemporary architecture exudes from nature in a bold yet subtle manner. The wine tasting was available on the terrace instead of the cellar & was delivered in a very professional yet relaxed manner. The chef's menu was a delight for the senses with every plate delivering a vast array of flavour. The pace of the dishes needs to be quicker for those not taking the wine pairing option as l found myself quite restless past the 2 hour mark. The scenery from the restaurant is breathtaking. Although there are gardens to explore, the venue is more suited for older kids & adults. The long driveway, spacious buildings can create a empty cold ambiance. Especially since our first encounter was a security guard telling us where we cannot go due to a private function. Perhaps a host/ess positioned at the entrance can help alleviate the feeling of walking through someone's private property unwelcomed. However once you are in the restaurant, the staff deliver service, exceptionally.

Beautiful place. First time visit although passed it many times. Wonderful art display and then onto the wine tasting. Will go back for food next time. Very knowledgeable host. Chenin of course was fab.

Had a little hiccup with the langoustine dish, but everything else was pretty tasty. The restaurant kindly did not charge us for it even though. Will definitely go back. Excellent service. Wish we could have done the stable tour.

I recently experienced the chefs' lunch menu and wine pairing at Cavalli Wine Estate, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The menu's creativity, presentation, and flavor combinations were absolutely stunning. The wine selection complemented each dish perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. I must commend Unathi for providing outstanding service, making the meal even more enjoyable. A five-star experience all around!

We went to Cavalli for the wine tasting. We called on the day and were able to get a spot. Really loved the aesthetic of the place, it is clean, warm but had a welcoming vibe. Will be back to have lunch here one day.

A beautiful date night. We had the set chef's menu with wine pairing which was reasonably priced. I give 5 stars to the 1st three courses, the main lacked balance for me and the dessert was not for my palette. Service any ambience get a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful estate with a beautiful atmosphere! Staff are friendly and helpful. The food was great! We sat down for the A La Carte Menu and it was very good. Large selection of drinks and a very relaxed vibe.

Really impressive wine estate in the heart of the Stellenbosch wine region. On a good clear day the views are amazing toward the helderberg mountains. The wine tasting room is underground and really well laid out and classy. Really enjoyable tasting and experience. Will return to try the restaurant as the snacks ordered were really good.

One of the best places we visited during our trip in South Africa. Waiters are friendly and the food is AMAZING. The wine pairing are wines of their own, which makes it extra special. They start from a vegetarian menu and add fish and meat, so diet restrictions are not a problem for them. An extra advantage is that your car is safely garded.
