Sadly not the place that I remember from the past anymore.. . I experienced my first practice back after a few years elsewhere, as crowded and accompanied by what I found to be somewhat disruptive music. The whole practice felt a bit rushed and erratic, not the calm and soothing presence I seem to remember from instructors in the past. I hope it was just one class, as it would be sad if the Shala succumbed to Cape Towns somewhat commercial yoga trend... :(

Small, personal and cute Yoga Studio with knowledgeable teachers. I enjoyed my classes here. They don't focus just on Asana's but integrate the Yoga Philosophy as a whole. Would def recommend.

An amazing yoga studio with so much to offer. The yoga school of Cape Town. A place of learning, unlearning and everyone is treated equally with compassion and kindness. Always amazed by the quality of the ever-changing classes. I could practice with my eyes closed with Tamsin guiding us perfectly into her class and into ourselves. A real temple to disconnect with outside and reconnect from within.

Lovely studio with beautiful natural light. Good quality class. The reception is nice to for a chat and there's even a cafe open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Would definitely recommend this place to friends!
