Went
there
for
lunch.
The
place
is
now
called
'Awara'.
They
have
combined
the
menu
of
Haiku
and
Bukhara.
It's
super
confusing
because
the
V&A
waterfront
branch
has
a
slightly
different
menu.
We
had
specifically
asked
about
this
when
we
had
called
them
for
reserving
the
table
but
the
staff
themselves
have
no
idea
about
how
the
menus
are.
Coming
to
service,
the
food
was
served
to
us
in
a
haphazard
manner,
with
the
starter
being
served
at
the
end
of
the
meal.
Being
an
Indian
restaurant
,
they
don't
seem
to
come
anywhere
close
to
real
Indian
hospitality.
No
drinks
menu
was
provided.
We
were
told
that
since
the
barman
is
not
present
they
don't
wish
to
give
us
the
drinks
menu.
Which
seems
strange.
The
main
course
came
first.
No
condiments
on
the
side
were
given.
The
kasuri
methi
chicken
was
very
passable.
The
chicken
was
boiled,
thready
and
smelt
old.
The
chicken
kulcha
starter
was
too
sharp
and
crispy
to
swallow.There
was
barely
any
chicken
in
it.
The
garlic
chicken
kebab
was
good
since
it
came
with
onion
in
green
chutney,
but
the
chicken
was
dry
and
tasteless
inside.
The
Naan
provided
with
it
was
dry
and
chewy.
The
experience
was
super
boring
,
and
one
can
get
waaay
better
Indian
food
and
service
in
other
places
in
Cape
Town.
The
food
and
service
is
not
NOT
worth
the
price
at
all.
Very
dull
place.
The
management
seems
to
have
deteriorated
a
lot.
