Well stocked shop that has all your requirements for beading. Items priced cheaply and bulk buys are even cheaper. Shop has ample staff but not one is friendly or helpful. Not a nice shopping experiance and will not be returning. Shopping experience at Kalk Bay shop is by far more pleasurable.

Wouldn't recommend this store. If you want a bead store that has an entire separate bead shop and a crystal jewellery shop rather visit Rockchic in hout bay for a spiritual and pleasant experience. Way better selection and wonderful friendly owner and staff and they sell GENUINE silver and gemstone jewellery unlike global beads. The old ladies at global beads ( at both branches ) are miserable and complete con artists who pressure you into buying stuff while you're just browsing and they are beyond rude and unwelcoming. All of their silver I've bought tends to tarnish in water which means it's not real sterling silver... The best crystal shop In cape town is by far Rockchic crystal shop as I've been buying beads and rings from them for 2 years and they are still as good as the day I first bought them. Also not overpriced like global beads.

Lovely shop. Well organised. Lots to choose from. On that I'd give 5 stars. However, 2 people working there. No welcome or interaction with the customers. In a creative environment you'd expect it not to be so unfriendly. Kind of makes you want to get your stuff and leave. Explains why the shop was empty when all the others I'd visited that day had customers. Very sad. Maybe they were just having a bad day. I'll definitely be back though.

I absolutely love going there. They allow you to look and measure as long as you like but they are always within earshot if you need help. And what a selection!
