Best vet in the area!!! Super service and so personal. 5 stars. When my Coco was sick and I was panicking, they put me at ease and kept me up to date while he was there. Honestly never have received such great service. Such real concern for my precious doggo. I felt like family and that was such a welcome change. Prices are really good too!! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I toke my fur child, Max to Vet world after him having an accident. The experience was out of this world. The whole staff went out of their way to see that myself and Max were comfortable right through the process. I will not go to any other vet ever again. I highly recommend Vet world to any body how really cares for and loves their fur child

The most amazing veterinary clinic ever. From the front line staff to the actual vet. After a very bad experience at a reputable clinic, vet world saved the day. Both our dogs are now part of the vet world family. Thanks so much for a fantastic, profesional service with the most affordable fees as well. You are all awesome, Dr Venter, Megan and team. Best experience at a vet in a very long time. Visited the vet with my puppy 29 April 2021, I was a few mins late and informed them, they were very understanding and accommodating, even asked if I needed help bringing my puppy in when I arrived. The institution is very clean and tidy, staff from reception to the Vet are sincere, warm and friendly, not only to me the customer but to my puppy aswell. Staff goes out of their way to assist with information and guidance. Prices are reasonable and even cheaper than compared to other vets in the vicinity. I must give them a big THUMBS UP for there platforms for communication and appointments with customers, they are even on WhatsApp. Keep up the good work and the idea of not only a business but also the treatment towards customers and their pets. Thank you very much for the sincere manner in which you all deal with me Mr Neil Martin and my dog Dex.

I will not use any other veterinarian practitioner than Doctor Venter (I changed branches when he moved from Somerset West to Cape Gate). He keeps you updated on the animals progress and has a genuine love of animals, this is evident by how relaxed my cats and dogs are from his care.

Sadly I didn't get quite the experience as previous reviewers. Took my 5mth old kitten for spaying on Friday 30 Apr and collected her after 5 the afternoon. I was called by Dr Venter the afternoon to give me an update on how the procedure went, which I really appreciated as it set my mind at ease greatly. Unfortunately when we got home, she started pulling at the plaster bandage despite my trying to stop her. I called and spoke to Megan who promised that she would speak to the vet present and call me back. This never happened and while I was asleep the Saturday night, my cat managed to pull off the bandage completely and ate it. She became very ill the Sunday to the point of vomiting up her second and last pain pill, vomiting bile and refusing to eat. I was quoted R1000 consultation at TAH because that is the vet the aftercare page refers to. I would have let this entire matter just be, but am appalled by the attitude of Patricia. On Monday I received a whatsapp from Megan asking how Faith was doing and I updated her and expressed my disappointment at never hearing back and being left to my own devices as a first time cat owner. Patricia responded the following day that I received an aftercare sheet which tells me what to expect after getting home. I respectfully informed her that she knows nothing about this matter and to not send me generic responses. Her response? "No problem". The reputation of a new establishment depends on the entire team. The way this whole experience leaves me feeling is that this was a chop-shop process and sort things out yourself afterwards. I doubt very highly that I will go back to have the stitches removed.

Dr Venter is a great, caring and compassionate vet. My dogs love him!! The receptionists and assistant, JT, were very helpful and accommodating when my dog recently needed surgery. I also received a much appreciated follow up message checking on my dog's recovery. I highly recommend this practice.

The team at Vetworld Cape Gate is the best. Always friendly and helpful. The Vet, Dr Daniel is the best. He really handles my very nervous dog with so much care. I can recommend this Vet and the supporting staff .

Awesome experience! Very friendly & helpful receptionist and Dr. Venter was absolutely amazing with my nervous dog, taking time to make him feel more relaxed and not just rushing the appointment for vaccinations, would definitely recommend them!

I would recommend Dr Venter and his practice any day. They are awesome with the animals and one feels at ease when your 'child' has to undergo procedures and know that they are in good hands. Also very affordable. Keep up the good work.

I have been at Vetworld Cape Gate 3 times in the past year or so. Each time was a good experience. Not only did the online booking proceed without any hiccup, the receptionist was friendly and efficient, and the vet had a lovely way with my dog. He can be a handful, and she managed him with a firm but kind hand. She was interested, shared her microscope-related findings, whilst remaining mindful of cost. And I believe the dog is better already. So all in all, I can strongly recommend this service.

Meghan and Dr Venter are amazing. The sweet guy that escorted Bongo and myself to the cages is a sweetie pie. I can't recall his name. The rooms are super clean and no waiting for hours. Bongo obviously could not wait to leave when I picked him up after his little procedure but he was just as excited when we got there.

Best vet with great service. Dr Daniel Venter really loves animals and goes to great lenghts to win their trust. He spends time with every patient. The receptionists are very friendly and helpfull. It is always a good experience to go to Vetworld Cape Gate.

Vetword Cape Gate is the best place to take you pets. We take all 4 our dogs there. Dr. Venter really cares for them with so much detail big dogs and small dogs. Even the ladies at reception is always willing to help. They check up on your dog if they have had an opportunity every other day. They really take the time to make sure your pets are doing well. Thank you Dr. VENTER and your team for everything you have done for our dogs this year.

I am extremely pleased that I decided to take my dogs to Cape Gate Vetworld. This is definitely the best care and advice I have experienced at a veterinary practice. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful and Dr Daniel is absolutely amazing with both my dogs.
