Last week, I took my 7 and 9 year old to IMAA for the first time. I had no idea what to expect, but was impressed on so many levels. From the moment we stepped into the Dojo, I realized that my kids will be in good hands. The Instructors were top notch and AMAZING with the kids. Head Instructor and International Gold medalist Monique inspires confidence and excellence. It was nice to see the confidence grow in my kids when they started to "get it". The Dojo training venue is brand new, classy, and large enough to have proper social distancing with very strict COVID policies. My kids can't wait to go again. I'm relieved that I have found something that both kids enjoy and doesn't involve a screen. ;) This is especially true, as this long period of inactivity and being cooped up in the house wasn't doing them any favours. Highly recommend.

My daughter came to a point in her life where she no longer wanted to do karate, and karate was her life. We decided to make a move. Almost a year later and my daughter sees her dojo as her second home. She has grown and learnt so much in this past year. Having the opportunity to train in a fully equipped dojo on tatami twice a week has been the best disision we have made. My daughter enjoys every minute in the dojo and sees it as a break away from all the struggles in life. Best way to learn disipline to a child is by letting them do karate.

My daughter has been doing Karate since she was 4. She was not giving the opportunity to train more towards her Kata so she was extremely behind on her Kata training as well as disliked Kara's as it made her nervous. We are now with the Do-Jo for a year and my Luanè is now on par with her Kata 's and she loves every single minute of it. The Sensei' s are the most patient I have ever seen. They approach each child differently and see every student as a hero. Our kids does not Rand value for them but a human value. I thank you for all you do for our kids.

Love being part of a family that helps me grow physically and mentally yet I dont feel pressured to perform at anyone's pace or standard, but rather at my own. Highly recommended.

My son became part of this dojo over a year ago, and I am so grateful that he found this safe place. A place where he is taught with patience, where his ups and downs are accepted, where his every achievement is celebrated, and where he can be himself. Senseis Monique & Nicolette knows each child personally, and they care. Their passion for their craft and their kids, are invaluable🥋🥋🥇

IMAA is a worldclass dojo where the needs of the students come first. The sensei’s are hardworking and professional individuals. They set the bar high and they make sure that the students achieve the set goals. The students always feel safe and comfortable at the dojo and it’s a place where they are physically, socially, and emotionally secure. This is imperative for healthy development and a successful future.

My daughter loves her karate, because of the friendships she is making. The support she receives and the caring of the sense's. The karate is her happy place. Her caracter and attetude has improved a lot this year. First time competition and she was excited about competing and a year ago she would not have. Selfesteem grew a lot since joining the dojo.

Great support system for the children. Keeping the mind and body healthy and active. They are definitely more than just senseis, they are a phenomenal team who leads our children to success.
