Received a voucher for a free kids meal from my daughter's school. So I took her during the holidays. One of the neatest Spurs I have been to. Staff was efficient and friendly. Food was on par with standard Spur food. Definitely one of the better outlets in the area.

The food was OK, the waiter was OK. HOWEVER, after noticing a fellow patron SMOKING inside the Spur, I brought it to the attention of the manager. She asked the patron 3 times not to smoke indoors, the matter was then simply left, with no furtheraction. Not only is it illegal to smoke indoors, there are many children plus sick people who need a smoke-free environment. What security measures are in place for illegal activities?

Good service, however...I want to propose that this grinder type salt be removed and fine salt be put back on the tables. Rough salt grinders leave big chunks of salt on the food, so you can really never get it right.....sale with black corn pepper grinders. Not a Spur matter, but all the restaurants have this problem.

I ordered a take away from this branch ~~ the food looks & tastes terrible. Fries are oily & over fried. As a vegetarian, the veggie schnitzel is so thin 😫 I could get a better meal from PickńPay ! I would not recommend this Spur to any of my family, friends & colleagues.

Overall a lovely evening, great waiter, friendly service,and adequate food. However, I can't give more stars as the beer was too warm. Loadshedding hasn't happened in two days so that can't be an excuse. Switch your fridge on guys...

Thank you for your kind offer as well. I am very disappointed, my first experience at this branch was lovely however when visiting over this passed weekend I am appalled. Our waiter was lovely however we were served spoilt food because the kitchen did not make their usual honey mustard sauce and saw it fit to give us whatever bottled sauce they had in the kitchen and with out informing us. The burger tasted like pure wasabi and when question we were told "thats how it should taste" with enough push and complaining eventually the burger was taken back. The manager informed us they had used an alternative sauce and when added to the burger it had probably spoiled, and thats where it ended, there was no sincerity or concern showed. I had to stay up for hours with my partner as he got food poisoning from this experience. I will not be coming back to this branch if this is the service we receive. I only hope your chef learnt from this and does not repeat this mistake with someone else.

I placed a take away order today and this was the state of my food when I arrived home. An absolute joke. The chips are stale and and oily. The roll is cracked and hard. And the onion rings are solid as rock and clumped together. This spur really needs to reconsider some of its chefs.

I visited Silver Creek Spur on 20 Sept with my family of 7. I was very happy with the service from all staff especially the waiters. Despite being so busy they were attentive, friendly and efficient. Great service Keep it up

This is the go to place when I want to spoil my kids as I live very close by. Unfortunately this will be my very last visit. This is now the 3rd time that I have been disappointed with either the service or the food. When you plan a evening out as you dont feel like cooking at home And you receive food that is so cold. Like the mushroom sauce its like they just use the packets and throw it over. Olives was watery. Chips is hard you and still have that thaw taste. The food was just disgusting. Now I paid a bill of for something that was just disgusting!!. I couldv rather cooked at home... I also notice every time there is a new manager so clearly thats a indication that they are not doing something right...they are always understaffed... Definitely a no no from me!!

Picked up a takeaway using a Vodacom voucher. Friendly reception and advice re processing voucher. Order was ready in a few minutes. Great tasting desserts and deliciously spicy chicken livers. Prices getting a bit high at my age, clearly remember ordering the Manhattan Mushroom Burger for R2.95 in my student years.

Went to Silver Creek spur this morning and was very dissapointed with the service which I received, We ordered to unreal breakfasts and an orange juice, when our food eventually came, the waiter had forgotten the toast, 5 mins later (and our breakfast getting cold) she brought the toast, she looked at us, walked away and then stepped back and said “do you guys want some Jam and Butter” - They usually put this on the table way before the food comes , it took her another 5 minutes to bring our butter and Jam, I could see how she was attending to other tables in this time, By the time my husband and I were done with our food, i realised she never brought my orange juice, it was too late then anyway as my breakfast was done. My husband and I just stood up and went to the front counter to pay, the manager happend to be standing there and I said what had happend, I explained about the juice and that it did not come and all she said was “yoh, its not even that busy now” we just said its okay and left. So dissapointed as we usually go there.

Very dissapointing. Place was quite busy, we were served by a trainee waittress. Was a total disaster. We were 4 adults and 3 children, Didn't get our food at the same time. I didn't get what i ordered, but seeing that the others were almost done eating, I said just leave it. Then when we receive our bill, there are 3 items included that the waitress accidentally included on our bill. So if you have to go there, check your bill before you pay it

Had a terrible breakfast - bacon not cooked properly, no idea of an easy over egg. Complained to the Manager and she was an absolute star and promised us a great experience next time. So I will give it another try next week.

We phoned last night to make sure that the kitchen wasn't closed before 9. They said we would be able to order food no problem as long as it's before 9. So we rushed from the concert go there 8 45. I was so impressed by the waitress, she's flippen good, the service was good as well as the food, the manager said when we spoke, we treat out first customer and our last customer the same. We left with smiles and full tummies. So worth the pop in and very glad to have tipped so much, you really deserved it. You guys have really redeemed the last time we were there, we were seated and was never helped so we left, the manager was so upset him having to run after us down the street while we climbed into our car. Well done spur for pulling up your socks.

The food was good and the restaurant is very neat and clean, I was also impressed with the play area. BUT nothing can spoil a sunday lunch experience more than the sudden start of the loudest humanly possible clapping of hands and on tables because someone has a birthday by the staff, seriously over the top for no reason, my children started crying. 👎🏽

Nice spur in the heart of Durbanville. You can always tell the quality of an establishment by the cleanliness of their toilets. We experienced friendly an efficient service by the staff. Will recommend it.

I was ill, so couldn't eat my food that evening went home with me, to eat the next day. Nachos is always super. Order was not what we ordered by new staff member, and we understood. She was new. Enjoyed the meal and glass of wine (Nederburg 56 100). Will go back asap. Best restaurant in Durbanville.

This is by far the best Spur i have dined at by far. The food is honestly the best. I cannot emphasis this enough. I can strongly recommend this Spur. Our kids enjoy the play area. The way in which the play area is positioned relative to the tables makes it very easy to monitor your kids activity.

Best kids play area in any Spur we have ever been to... I would estimate 60% restaurant 40% play area!! Have been served by the same gentleman a few times now, and he has always been fantastic. Need to go again to get his name... Great service. And the food is what you would expect from a long standing grill franchise. So glad they had the revamp after covid, and brought the toilet "inside". We hated having to leave the restaurant with the kids to take them. It was not idea, so we only went once then. But since the revamp it's been Fantastic. Love our visits to this spot now. We have never had to Queue to get a table.

To get seated took a while, but after that I got fast and friendly service. The place was packed with 3 birthday party's at the time, so no complaints. Food was great.
