Joining a yoga studio as a beginner yogi is intimidating. I put it off for weeks thinking I would feel judged and out of place. Then I took a chance with the House of Yoga and found the exact opposite. Two years later, and this studio is one of my sanctuaries; a safe place where I can practice yoga in a welcoming, warm environment amongst people from all walks of life, all shapes and sizes, and all levels of practice. I’ve spent so many shavasanas at House of Yoga, thinking “This feels like home”.

A very special yoga studio with great teachers. A calm and serene space with lots of knowledge shared. The small classes are such a bonus too. Look forward to my class every week!

I started my ante natal / pregnancy yoga journey here as a newbie to Yoga. I have loved the experience, the studio is beautiful and intimate, Leigh is an incredible instructor who speaks with clarity, and I left every single session feeling great and as though I had learned something new. The focus on breath work and meditation for a pregnancy class has helped me feel relaxed and prepared for my birth. I look forward to returning postpartum.

I was welcomed by the lovely friendly Karen as I arrived. A serene and peaceful setting made me relax immediately. I was offered a variety of beautiful herbal teas and also different essential oils for the massage. Karen has a gentle yet firm touch. I have never actually felt relaxed during a sports massage usually I am holding my breath and wishing it is over. This massage however I did not want to end!!! I will definitely be back and am also joining the lovely yoga studio. What a wonderful combination of relaxation and rejuvenation. Thank you.

House of Yoga is a hidden suburban gem!!! The beautiful garden is the 1st little bit of magic that awaits, as soon as you walk in. I will definitely recommend for you to arrive a bit earlier, or stay a bit longer, to soak it in! I decided to treat myself with a yin yoga class, followed by a 1 hour massage. BEST DECISION EVER!!!! I felt totally blissed out after my yin yoga class and realised I was in for a real treat when Karen gave me a list of aromatherapy oils to choose from to customize my massage! How special?! She also gave me a herbal tea menu to choose a hand blended tea from to enjoy after my massage. Attention to detail is really important to me. I was in heaven before we even started with my massage! Karen is extremely professional and very caring at the same time. She had a consultation with me before we started and really focused on the list of "problem areas" that I pointed out. I felt like a million dollars after, and will definitely be back for many more pamper sessions with her!!! Karen has many talents, she personally hand blends the herbal teas as well. Don't leave without your complimentary cuppa! You can feel the goodness with each sip you take!

Such a beautiful studio with an amazing energy! The minute you walk in you feel a sense of calm. The teachers are brilliant and clearly passionate about yoga. They each bring their own style and expertise into every class and take the time to get to know their students. Classes are a good size - small enough for individual attention but big enough to create a nice vibe. I love my yoga classes at House of Yoga! My week just wouldn't be complete without them.

By far the best massage I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot). Walking into House of Yoga you automatically feel calm and relaxed. Karen let’s you choose your scents (all have different properties) and sets the room out beautifully so that you feel like a jelly baby even before the massage begins. She is very attentive and focuses on your problem areas. She is able to release tension areas in such a way that it doesn’t hurt at all. I hold tension in my back and she is the only person who can release it and make it stay away. After your massage you can relax in the beautiful garden with a cup of delicious herbal tea. I can not recommend them highly enough and go back every opportunity I get.

What a beautiful studio! It feels like doing yoga in your own home only better. Leigh is such a fantastic yoga teacher with great cues. She is also so caring and attentive in her corrections. I come out of her classes feeling like I am floating on a cloud of happy yoganess! I can also highly recommend going for a massage with Karen! Such a calm and relaxing environment as well as a great massage therapist!

The house of Yoga space is calming and inviting. It’s like a little sanctuary away from the stresses of our daily lives. Not only are there amazing yoga classes run by fantastic instructors, but you can book a reflexology or massage with Karen who is brilliant. I started off with a yoga class, and then ended with a great full body holistic massage. Love how you can pick your own aromatherapy oils suited to your needs! I left feeling so relaxed and calm. Can’t wait to come back- it’s like food for the soul. 💙 I’d definitely recommend both the yoga classes and massage to anyone needing some time out for themselves :)

I don't know how it works or why it works but House of Yoga give me a weekly recharge. This is calm and gentle space where all levels of yoga practice are celebrated. Leigh is an awesome teacher who does more than teach you yoga

I have been attending House of Yoga for sometime and working with Giulia in her Yoga for Strength class. I have a weekly yoga routine and I’m so grateful I get to move and practice in this sacred place and working with this incredible teacher. The gift of practice and repetition is not wasted on me. The best part of having my constant routine is the element of community I’ve found in this space, that comes from moving and flowing together every week. Thank you so much xxx

I started as an Absolute Beginner with no experience in yoga. Since then I've tried a few classes with different teachers and I've left each class with a different but fulfilling experience. The studio is amazing, the teachers are great! (Leigh is my favourite :) House is Yoga is an essential part of my week to relax and/or energize.
