Beautiful beach like in the movies. You can do water sports there or you can go snorkelling with turtles. There are a lot of local people who want to sell you a trip to see the turtles but you can take your own equipment and just swim less than 50m from the shore to see them for free. Also, there are a lot of seashells on the beach, but they are all broken because of rocks. It's not very easy to sunbathing there because of the strong wind (at least in february).

Very open, and relaxing. Nice to swim. Locals can bring you to the turtles (we paid €10/person, November 2022). Turtles are fed and locals push them towards you so that's not very respectfull... Beach can be quite windy. There's not much to do except for the beach.

Don't book the turtle experience through Trip Advisor. You just need to go to the beach and local people will come to you. Bring cash (euro or escudos)

An exquisite beach. We even saw some turtles in the water while swimming here without taking the boat trip. Also a great spot to see airplanes land at VXE airport.

Little Maldives. You also got the chance to swim with turtles, €15 for person. Loved it.

Ask one of the local fishermen if they would bring you to the turtles close to the beach (20-30€). After a 5 min boat trip, you can swim with huge loggerhead turtles!

One of best beach in Sao Vicente. You find turtles there.

Beautiful but very windy beach. Clear wather with many turtles. If you decide to go on a turtle boat tour, make sure to agree on a price on beforehand with the captain as some fixers / captains will try to rip you off. This was the only negative experience we had in Cape Verde. The people are generally fantastic.
