I'm referring to the New Morabeza Beach Club. We ate there twice. The pasta is delicious (Italians might complain, it is not al dente. For all others, who don't like to chew hardly cooked noodles, it was just perfect to the point). The second time I had the fish of the day and it was extraordinary! As we couldn't decide for a side dish, we got literally everything: potatos, yams maniok mash, tomato salad, onions, olives and the lot. Actually it is not like being in a restaurant, it is more like being guest at someone's home, who is cooking very well. This is true literally - ask Taty, who is running the place. So, if you like to eat good foot in Porto Novo, Santo Antão, take a taxi to Morabeza Beachclub, walk 15min westward on the beach. If you stay at Cap Azul, you'll probably end here anyway, not only once...

Don't be put off by the " beach club ". During the day it is a family friendly place with lovely and inexpensive meals. Tati and Sami (owners) are extremely kind and service-minded, and will adapt to your needs (they prepared vegetarian food for us)!

Really great place with two lovely people running it. Samira and Tati are so friendly. They were happy to entertain our little boy while we ate their delicious food. Very reasonably priced. A hidden gem in Santo Antao.

I loved this place! Samira and Tati are the most wonderful people you will meet and they will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Great food, lovely location and the absolute best people! Hopefully I will be back one day soon.

If your are looking for a place at the beach (beautiful view guaranteed) with delicious food and amazing people, this is it! Normally we don't go back to the same restaurant but we've been here 3 times.

This is a very nice place located on the beach. It has stunning views for sunsets and the service is really great: quick & friendly. We went for dinner and had pasta and a snack before. All were very delicious. The chef is an Italian lady and you could taste the passion for cooking. Prices are also really good, especially compared to the quality of food and large portions you get. Strongly recommend it.

Was shocked to find such a high cuisine in such a place. Really incredible and highly recommended! No one plate to recommend, everything is worth trying.

Great place ! The Italian chef and its staff are nice and friendly and the food is really good. Pasta are like in Italy...I had 2 days in a row the carbonara and it was just perfect. I also had the octopus and you could see it was fresh and well cooked ! Grazie mille !

Been there multiple times within few days as we had a great experience. The food was super fresh and deliciously cooked. The restaurant owners and all the stuff are very welcoming and joyful. Definitely recommended!
