We just wanted to take a short break here after the hike up the "Peak of Antonia" mountain. As a welcome we had a nice conversation with the owner. The restaurant and especially the terrace are very welcome. In the middle of the slope. A view across the valley. We wanted to take a "Collectivo" back to Praia. The owner had the same path ahead of him and took us with him without further ado. One of the most interesting rides and people of the entire holiday. A small private tour with explanations about the country and its people. Thanks for that!

Cool mountain air... Up in the clouds. They served a good dinner of local foods to our group of 100+, accompanied by a band with a female lead singer who kept the place jumping.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant up in the mountains. One of the nicest places on the whole island. A great place to get away when you want to escape from Praia. Amazing buffet.

Top 3 of best restaurant and hotel in Santiago island. The manager Lindomar is a real gentleman and a very friendly person. The staff is also well prepared and handful. The landscape is breathtaking, the weather always pleasant... I mean, is the closest "in heaven" experience you may have in Cabo Verde. A MUST GO for sure.

Very nice place up in the mountains with superb view! Nice are for hiking and cycling. The restaurant and hotel is well equiped, offering good food and served by friendly staff.

This quaint little hotel is absolutely worth the trip. Great food, clean/nice rooms, and amazing views! 10/10 would go again.

Amazing food on a Sunday with two artists Arlindo Barbosa Rodrigues( Guitar Vocal, Ulysses (Piano), great Ambiente, Grogue de Sto. Antao... a must who visits Santiago...professional and dedicated to what they do... Enjoy your time in Cape Verde

I visit only the restorant. I was with a group. The table was not ready. The food was OK, but not something to drive to from Praia

Nice and pleasant trip, fresh and nature

Awesome view, nice rooms, you’ll be comfy! Though, the night buffet is not what you might expect: a bit bland, not much choice and the dinner room is a bit gloomy. The bar is quite well diversified and not that expensive. The staff was a bit slow but still very helpful when we needed to leave for the airport. Fellow spider-phobic friends, don’t wander around, the paths are full of them on the trees. I couldn’t make it and get back to the hotel 5min later. (My girlfriend protected me 😅) Cheers from Belgium 🇧🇪
