This was my first ROBINSON experience and also my first time in Cape Verde. The resort is a dream. Very modern, very beautifully designed. There are 2 pools, countless sunbeds, comfortable daybeds both in the shade and in the sun. The adjoining beach is fantastic, also with numerous sunbeds, a beach bar where live music is played or a DJ plays in the evening. The sports, entertainment and wellness facilities are very extensive and varied. There is something for everyone. Water sports are offered. There is an in-house gym. A main bar and restaurant in the centre of the complex, including another bar in the front area, as well as the possibility to book a multi-course dinner with wine accompaniment complete the offer. There is entertainment program every evening from 9:45 pm onwards and dancefoor opens. Pro tip: Check out the evening program in advance to your journey which can be helpful to know the dresscode because there is different themes which can be so much fun! But ultimately, it is the people who work there who have made my stay an unforgettable experience. Whether they are staying for a few weeks or months, or have been working there since the opening in 2019, everyone is very committed every day to making the guests' stay unforgettable. Kudos to the animation team, sports, dancing, wellness, kitchen staff, cleaning, security, and many more who are always approachable, very helpful and always in a good mood. I can only warmly recommend the club to anyone who wants to spend their holidays on Sal, Cabo Verde.

Unfortunately on the second day I got bad food poisoning and 12 days later have got worse each day and still can’t keep anything down. The water tap in the dining room was warm and the fizz didn’t work so it may have been tap water I was drinking which is known to have bugs and a shigella outbreak there. It ruined the holiday. The chicken from the grill was raw and I think that could have did it A shame as the hotel is nice, great German staff and the management good. Maybe I got unlucky but reading reviews this is common in Cape Verde.

We had a fantastic one weeks holiday, excellent facilities and classes. The hotel room was immaculately cleaned everyday. The staff were extremely friendly both on the resort and out in town. Great selection of fresh food in the buffet area however limited options for any dining out side of the buffet . During our one weeks holiday we were unable to secure a table using the app. Therefore opted to dine out in Santa Maria. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly warm welcome and a glass of Prosecco, However during the check in process we witnessed a manager disciplining two members of staff in the reception area. Overall we absolutely enjoyed our experience and would with our question return.

Was a very nice trip. We had a lot of fun with our family, friends and the Robinson crew. Especially Felish and Romeo were really nice animators and they improved the vibe of the trip a lot. Thank you guys

The hotel has a good location, 15/20 minutes walking to Santa Maria. The beach area is not the best one, since it's almost always red flag. The service at the hotel was ok, the staff are friendly, especially Cape Verdeans. They are always looking to keep everything clean and organised and to make the tourists satisfied. They cleaned the rooms everyday and they were polite. If you needed anything, they will provide. The rooms are very good, with plenty of space, big and comfortable beds, mini terrace with place to dry your clothes. The food during our stay was ok, since they tried to have different options all the time and with tasty food. The hotel has a nice and organised gym and provides water and fresh towels to those who would like to workout. Also, the hotel has 2 nice bars (one at the beach and one near the pools) where they have live music and DJ's. They provide refrigerators with still and sparkling water to the guests at the bars. Negative aspects: 1 - lack of sunshades/beach umbrellas in pool area (since the temperatures were high and the sun was strong) 2 - guests leaving towels, bottles of water (full or empty) and cups everywhere, which is not very pleasant to others. The guests also leave their towels and belongings on the loungers all day even when they are not using them. 3 - to much focus on german tourists and forgetting about the rest of the tourists (portuguese, spanish, brits...), since during parties or classes at the gym or at the pool, they speak 95% german and 5% english, not to mention that some of the german staff behave like children and treat the hotel like if they were having party all the time. 4 - in terms of security, the security teams did good job. However and to make everything safer, the hotel should provide specific bracelets to better identify the guests. 5 - not that much privacy in the bathroom since the only door is made of glass and kept opening all the time. Overall it was a positive experience and we would recommend it.

For me, those vacations there were perfect. 18+ hotel so no children, very quiet, clean. Food in the restaurant was Amazing. We were in August - no mosquitos.

Great Robinson, they still got a few things to figure out and upgrade. But all in all we had a great vacation. Sports: Great variety with many great and enthusiastic instructors like Merle and Nike. Evening entertainment: Quite late with the time difference and not that special, but we don't care about the evening entertainment anyways.

I spent the summer holiday with my boyfriend in Robinson all and all it was great experience and everything was worth it, the only problem l had was the bathroom it gets wet after showering but the food was great freshly made so is the drink the gym has the necessary equipment everything was good highly recommend to anyone.
