Very delicious food. A small menu written on a board with a few fish dishes on one side, and a few meat on the other. We got two types of fish and loved both. Lots of outdoor seating on a very pedestrian street, and a tiny stage for local musicians which set a lovely atmosphere. The staff seemed a bit overloaded by the number of guests, but they were always super friendly so not truly something to complain about.

Good experience overall! We went for dinner and got live music. I has tuna tataki which was fresh! The only improvement would be to accept international cards.

On our first night in Praia we came across this restaurant and the food was out of this world. The chef cooked the fresh fish perfectly. The waiter, Ruan cardoso, gave us the nicest dry white wine, Cabriz. I highly recommend the Esmoregal Grelhado fish. After 10 days of travelling to different islands we returned for our last meal in Cape Verde to this restaurant. There was live music too!

Everything is perfect here! The staff and cook are the friendliest people you have ever met, the food is absolutely delicious and the live music is wonderful! Can't be any better!

Poor service. The waiter told me « special price » when I asked how much was the esmoregal. We ended up with a bill of 4000 ECV for 2 cocktails and 2 dishes - the highest we got in 3 weeks. Very expensive for légumes fish and rice. Not enough lights outside.
