I went to Dive Tribe because of a personal recommendation. The instructor put a lot of emphasis on safety and repeated some maneuvers with me which gave me a good feeling since my last drive was already half a year ago and I'm still a beginner. I was very thrilled about my dive, I got to see turtles, sting rays, a shark and plenty of fish. It could have been a very nice experience that came to a bitter end when my instructor gave me to understand that he wanted to kiss me. I thought I was mistaken but while we were at a beach while the other client went for another dive he made sure I got it correctly. I had to say no several times which left me feeling very uncomfortable. Especially at a deserted beach with no one else around. I felt unsafe knowing that there was no chance for help if sth else had occurred. So unfortunately that's the main memory I gonna take with me. It's a shame because the dive was really amazing but I wouldn't pay again 60 euros for harassment that I can get on the street for free. I wish I could have had the same experience as the other male client on the boat. A simple dive and nothing more.

I did 10 dives with Dive Tribe on May 2018 and I was impressed by the people and organization of the dive center. I've been diving for almost 15 years and I rarely found dive guides like Sydney, Ary and Mike. They know their dive spots very well and are extremely relaxed in the water, not rushing anything and constantly keeping an eye on the entire group. The overall organization is very good, even if with limited resources, you basically just need to dive and not worry about anything else. The diving itself is good although I missed seeing bigger species like you normally see in Atlantic destinations. Nevertheless, in 10 dives we saw 3 nurse sharks, a couple of turtles and healthy reefs full of life.

Had some lovely days of diving here a while ago. Stayed at Foya Branca but spend most time in Mindelo and at Dive Tribe in the Port. Of course the ocean life here is amazing with sting rays, sharks, turtles, wreck inhabitants ... Also they often see Whale sharks and Manta rays (so I will be back for that!!) The local surroundings above surface in Mindelo is magic too with tasty food in personal restaurants, great drinks in vibrant bars and live music around every corner!! Back to Dive Tribe - Modern RIBs with excellent skippers take you to dive sites beyond expectations. Bays surrounded by high vulcanic mountains or to the small Island in open water were you will experience some real Adrenaline kicks drift diving! But what made this a five star dive trip experience mostly is without doubt the Dive Tribe Team ! Professional dive guides, top quality instructors. All friendly, helpful and yes - great, nice people. See you soon again, for sure. Some places you just have to return to and Dive Tribe is one of them!

Great professionals,they made me feel very safe and comfortable,the place is right near to the port,easy to find,and the zodiac is just there. I am sending my friends to dive here without hesitation,Annika,Sidney and Eder are great and also the rest of the team. We saw,sharks,rays,turtles,barracudas,and many different types of fishes,the spots are incredible! I would love to repeat!!

Perfect place for a dive in CV whatever your level! We arranged a discovery dive with Anica very quickly and we’re super well welcomed on the boat by the crew. After the first dive they proposed to go for a second one with the rest of the divers, so we did. We saw a lot of different fish and a few turtles too :) Bombas was our instructor, super caring and fun and able to provide explanations in multiple languages, the best! We’ll be back for more! I did 8 dives with Dive Tribe and Anica and her team were very professional and friendly. I felt safe at all times and enjoyed the underwater world of Sao Vicente. My personal highlight was Djeu rock with a big diversity of marine life. I would defitinitely recommend to dive here, if the conditions allow.

Very professional team, the Dive Tribe provides a safe and comfortable setting for diving in São Vicente, Cape Verde. The guides are friendly and explained the dive plan in detail. While conditions in Cape Verde can be somewhat challenging due to strong winds and currents, they prepared us well for a drift dive. We saw a very nice diversity of reef fish, corals, and many marine invertebrates. Highly recommend!

We had four great dives with the DiveTribe team to the west of Mindelo. The guides and Anica (the owner) were very friendly and helpful. The staff speaks English, Portugese and French, one guy was slowly getting into German as well, so absolutely a smooth experience, including the rental of the equipment. Water is not too warm in April but that's nothing the team can influence!

Great company family owned, went on 6 dives had a good time and learned about the area. The lead diver spoke English and Portuguese, would like to see a little more leeway in spacing between divers rather than arms length maybe 3-5 meters distance.

Professional and relax people and organisation! I had a couple of great dives! If you want to dive in Cape Verde this is the place to be. Thanks guys!

They helped us with finding the right accommodation, airport pickups and drops, trips around the island, restaurant recommendations. The team at Dive Tribe are extremely attentive and place safety as a top priority.
