Very nice park in the middle of Manhattan. The movie nights during summer are so cool, best open cinema I've ever been to. During the day you can just sit outside, enjoy a coffee or read a book. I love this place!

Bryant Park in New York City is a wonderful place! It's like a calm oasis in the middle of the busy city. The park is so pretty with lots of trees, flowers, and a big grassy area where you can just sit and relax. You can read a book there or have a picnic in the sun. One great thing about Bryant Park is there's always something fun to do. In the summer, you can join free yoga classes or watch movies outside. In winter, they have a cool ice-skating rink! Plus, they often have live music you can enjoy while sitting on one of the many benches. There's a romantic fountain and a carousel that adds to the park's charm. You can grab a coffee from the little stands or check out the craft booths. Overall, Bryant Park is a fantastic spot for everyone.

This is a great park with a lot to offer. It's not huge but provides a nice outdoor space in the middle of the city. The views of the surrounding buildings are beautiful. The seating areas are abundant. There are fountains, gardens, statues, and lots of green space. A great spot to get some fresh air!

Heart of NY and a must visit place during summer season. In winters , it’s not a park , and is more like a commercial place :) lots of shops , eateries and of course the winter ski 🎿 area in the center of the park . I like it in summer . Green and love to take a walk here . Very close to Times Square, NY library and other places in NY . Restrooms available and is generally crowded ! Expensive food and other things around . There is a train station near . Overall a very good place . Paid parkings around . Expensive parking spaces .. better to travel in public transport . 4 stars ..

Really beautiful park! The place is well-kept and in a pretty part of town. Came here for a summer concert (Arturo O'Farrell and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra) and had a great time sitting on a blanket in the grass with friends!

Every time I’m in NYC I try to visit Bryant Park. It’s one of the very few places in midtown that feels calm. It’s touristy but there are plenty of locals too and it’s easy to find a place to sit and people watch, get a coffee or just stroll around. Even better at night when the buildings around the park give an amazing backdrop.

Great atmosphere around the holidays with beautiful sights, delicious eats, and fun ice skating rink! Make sure you go slightly after the season is over to take advantage of the reduced crowd size (between Christmas and New Years is best). Enjoy!

🧺❄️☃️🥶 🌳🧘‍♂️🌭- Great park in the winter with the Winter Village. You can go ice skating or trying some of the venues in the village. There’s always a lot to do in this park. ☀️🌻🧺 - Great park in the summer with free events such as Shakespeare in the park and yoga. People also pay board games and come out to picnic. It’s a place where you can relax near Times Square and Grand Central.

I love going to NYC. Used to go to school around the area so it's the best place to be in the summer. They had a concert series from bank of America and it was beautiful. I will definitely be following to see what other activities they might have. I do have a video but cannot put it on. So here are some pics. Enjoy

A lovely park with plenty of seats and frequent free live music events. There’s a big romantic fountain, a carousel , lots of kiosks with coffee, and booths with people selling crafts. There’s also an ice skating rink in the winter.

Absolutely loved it here! The vendors were super sweet & personable!!! Lots to peruse and a bit crowded in the evening a couple weekends before Christmas. I have to say everyone in the crowd was friendly & patient. The holiday spirit was EVERYWHERE! We visited at about 10am and then returned at about 7pm to visit shops that were not yet open in the morning.

I visited here for the holiday market and the crowds were so intense it made the whole experience unpleasant. If there were no crowds it would be 3 stars because the vendors, while great, are so overpriced you end up just looking at everything and wishing it wasn’t so expensive! Decorations and festivities are nice but not worth battling through the crowds.

Probably one of the best parks in NYC. The park is very well managed and there is always a police presence to maintain order. This park is beautiful throughout the seasons. Wonderful place to spend some downtime. The plants are soo beautiful.

For me the best park that has Manhattan. Not big, but with a great view and decoration making a contrast with the trees and the buildings all around the Bryant Park. There are chairs and tables available for those who want to have a good time with their brew coffee or a nice cold tea. The fountain gives the perfect aspect to all the park, and the green area gives all the natural air that you need. Some times people will get into the fountain to get the coins. Not very nice. Almost a perfect park.

Absolutely in love with this park, plenty of seating options for everyone, several snack/food options around. It is my perfect spot to grab a coffee, sit down and get some quiet me-time away from the bustling city but still just in between Times Square and the Grand Central Terminal. Such a beautiful and peaceful place with a lot of greenery and great views of the city, including the Empire State Building.

We went to Bryant Park a few times. Very nice holiday market, except they open late in the day. We had hot chocolate from s'mores and more, the owner was very nice. My daughter found a couple little jewelry pieces and they have an olive wood shop that has beautiful crafted pieces. There is also ice skating but we chose to skate at Rockefeller Center. Great Mexican food in the holiday market!

Nice area to bring your takeout and eat since there are plenty of tables and chairs set up. Lots of vendors and activities around the area, not a whole lot of actual park space. Enjoyed the pigeons and there are super nice clean public restrooms on the north side of the area.

We never go to NYC without strolling through Bryant Park. It has everything. A beautiful lawn, vendors for a quick bite. Here’s a special hint. Grab a picnic from across the street at While Foods and go lay on the lawn and look up at the sky scrapers. If you have you kids there is also a carousel. Enjoy!

Wow. A great place to just sit and relax, sip a cup of coffee, or just read a book. It is kept clean and security is present. The bathrooms are clean as well. The manicured lawn is kept off limits for a good reason. Nice place just to hangout.

One of my favorite parks in the city! A beautiful Park that one can visit all year around, displaying each season’s beauty. I always tell my friends that Bryant ParK is always up to anything, whether it’d be enjoying a cup of coffee/tea while contemplating the amazing view, reading a book or joining one of their many activities. Highly recommend their summer movie nights

Very very beautiful place to be. Has amazing art work. And the staff is very straight. The have these Ruelas where you can’t enter certain rooms unless you have a laptop and are “studying” which is BS. So I you want to enter some of the famous rooms. Bring a brick in your bag as if it was a laptop so they can let you enter.

It's the park in the heart of New York surrounded by tall buildings. You can visit there when you go to New York public library and Rockefeller center. Subway is at the corner of the park and very easy to get to this park. The lawn is closed at night and if you want to sit on the grass, go before dark. The park is closed at 11 pm. There are many restaurants. I recommend to visit this park when you are in NYC

The holiday shops were nice to visit. Great places to pick up gifts for family and friends or a little something for yourself. They've got clothing, candles, holiday decor, fragrances, jewelry, pet themed socks, and a host of other items. There are several places to grab a bite to eat. We tried the menu from the Chinese, Indian, and Mexican restaurants and everything was delicious. You can get a small bite from each restaurant if you want to give them all a try or you can get full meals, whatever your preference. There are enough options for everyone to get what they want and places where you can all sit together and chat. The holiday bar was also nice and located next to the skate rink. Plenty of places to sit with friends. It rained when we went and because the shops are inside most were open when we got there in the evening. So this place is a good market to visit rain or shine. The park is about a 5 minute walk from Grand Central Station and is convenient to get to.

My wife and I visited Bryant Park on a Friday and had a wonderful time. The park is a true gem in the heart of New York City. The beautifully manicured gardens, serene atmosphere, and vibrant energy make it a perfect escape from the bustling city. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll, taking in the picturesque surroundings and people-watching. The park's central location and proximity to iconic landmarks are a definite plus. It's an ideal spot for a romantic outing or simply unwinding amidst nature. Bryant Park exceeded our expectations and left us with lasting memories.

Title: Bryant Park - An Oasis of Delight in the Heart of Manhattan Review: Over the years, I've had the immense pleasure of visiting Bryant Park on multiple occasions, and each time, the experience is nothing short of magical. Nestled in bustling Midtown Manhattan, this 9.6-acre haven offers an exquisite juxtaposition of nature's serenity and the city's energy. From the free theater and performance art shows that have captivated and entertained me to the delightful strolls that have granted moments of peace in the park's verdant embrace, every experience is unique and refreshing. The adjacent New York Public Library, a historic edifice, offers not just a trove of knowledge but an architectural feast for the eyes – and an excellent backdrop for some of my cherished pictures. Winter, in particular, has been exceptional. I fondly recall the "Winter Village" - a temporary world where ice skaters dance gracefully and holiday shops twinkle under the canopy of lights. The restaurants set up during these festive times have given my wife and me some of our most cherished dinner memories, surrounded by the season's charm. For the cinephiles, the summer movie nights are a treat. Lay back on the plush lawn, under a blanket of stars, and watch classics come alive. If active engagement is more your style, there's always something happening – be it ice skating in the winter, lively music performances resonating with the rhythms of jazz or classical tones, or the diverse classes, from yoga to dance, that rejuvenate not only the body but also the spirit. In essence, Bryant Park is more than just a park. It's a tapestry of experiences, where every corner has a story to tell, every event is a memory in the making, and every visit is an invitation to discover something new. Whether you're a tourist in New York or a seasoned local, Bryant Park stands as a testament to the city's ability to offer pockets of tranquility amidst its skyscraper canyons. It is a must-visit, not just once, but repeatedly.

This is piece of heaven in the center of new your city which is so so busy all the time. You can have a peaceful and blissful time with family friends parents and kids. This is the place to be if you looking for a quiet space to take a bite or read a walk or go for a walk. The tress here are absolutely gorgeous and they form a canopy above your head which almost feels like scene from a story book. Definitely check this place out if you visit New York City💯

Winter village was set up very nicely. For beginner ice skaters they have characters with handle to help build skills. Clean and a fun event with lots of fun food and shops. Definitely do your research before you go as there are many options and it can get crowded. A little difficult if you have a stroller etc. To maneuver through the various paths.

This is a beautiful park which we should visit twice, one during Christmas or Winter and other during summer or fall colors. In winter we can see the beautiful Winter Village with so many lights, ice skating rink and many other winter vendors, where as in summer the ice rink disappears with vast green grasslands with picnic spots and the lively trees that provide ample shade. Round the year we will find so many vendors selling different types of tasty snacks. This is a must visit walkable place from One Times Square or Rockefeller Center.

I feel silly writing this review but I think this park has the cleanest and fanciest public bathroom in the entire city. I had to use the restroom while on my way to Time Square and this park came up on Google maps and the restrooms here did not disappoint. I think there are cleaners here 24/7 guarding the place, at least they were there the entire time I was. 10/10 would visit again just to use facilities.

A spacious park with numerous booths set up as a market for the merchant to sale their products including art work, jewel, food, clothing, drinks, literary anything that is suitable for the market sale. It also has an outdoor ice skating rink for everyone who is interested to enjoy some winter fun. If the weather permits, it is a wonderful place to browse around after dinner as the light is wonderful and romantic for a late night walk in the park

Beautiful park in Midtown with plenty to see and do notwithstanding its relative small size. It has copious amounts of seating availabilities for visitors and it abounds in casual food offerings. It is the perfect spot to grab a coffee, sit down and cogitate on the quotidian occurrences even if just mentally away from the bustling city notwithstanding being physically adjacent to Times Square or Grand Central Terminal. It abounds in deep, lush verdant foliage and endows its visitors with an exquisite glimpse of Midtown Manhattan, especially the magnificent Empire State Building. Oh and the public bathrooms? Perhaps the greatest thing in the park. They are that outstanding

Love this park during Christmas time. It's filled with little shops selling a little of everything. The ice rink is really fun, but you must be on time. You get 1 hour and they stick to the time. It's a must go if you love Christmas and enjoy the next level stuff.

This place is a pretty good place if you want to relax or do whatever. There is seating everywhere and small shops in various places to buy some snacks. Since it is right near Times Square, there are many restaurants and attractions nearby also. What makes this park even more appealing are their seasonal and daily events, which happen almost everyday. The last time I went there, a jazz band performed, which played some reason good music. There are also movie nights, book and movie clubs and other interactive events. In all, if you want to relax or see or participate if some cool events, this park is amazing for it

What a cool destination for enjoying some softer scenery in the middle of buildings as fat as the eye can see. I thought of it as Central Park's little sister. It looked like maybe there was going to be some live music on the stage today. The adjacent restaurant was packed and many were enjoying a beautiful mild sunny Sunday afternoon when I arrived.

It was nice visiting this place. Restaurants are good and venue is nice, especially ice skating is cool. Bryant Park is said to be the most beautiful Christmas market in NYC. I don‘t know, if that is true. But for sure it cannot be compared with European/German Christmas markets. Just to put it into relation.

Bryant Park is a 9.6-acre (39,000 m2) public park located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. Privately managed, it is located between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) and between 40th and 42nd Streets in Midtown Manhattan. The eastern half of Bryant Park is occupied by the Main Branch of the New York Public Library (NYPL). The western half, which contains a lawn, shaded walkways, and amenities such as a carousel, is located entirely over an underground structure that houses the library's stacks. The park hosts several events, including a seasonal "Winter Village" with an ice rink and shops during the winter.

Aside from Central Park, Bryant Park is another gem in the city. Located next to the New York Public Library, it is a cute place for friends and family to gather or even to just sit and spend time in alone. The park is lit by one of the buildings nearby and there are plenty of cafes and coffee places to get drinks or food. I spent a couple hours just sitting here and it was enjoyable watching the people here and taking in the views.

Nice park to visit. Amazing how peaceful this place can be when it's in the middle of one of the busiest cities in the world. I visited Manhattan for work recently and would enjoy my morning coffee and breakfast in Bryant Park.

This transformation is amazing. Behind the NYC Public Library. A great place to relax and sit and eat lunch. There are outdoor dining restaurants and even a carousel.

  • 5/5 Richard B. 2 years ago on Google
It is in the heart of an upscale portion of Manhattan but it is also a friendly fun loving place where finally people take the time to reach out and talk to each other, no matter from what walk of life you have originated from. The last place where you would think diversity is celebrated. Mainly because people come to Bryant Park to stop and relax after running all over the city at the speed of light. And those tourists who are expecting to find rude disinterested New Yorkers, find just the opposite. Bryant Park gives New York City a good name. Movies and free concerts in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Or just come for lunch and meet a few potential friends. You will be glad you did.

  • 5/5 Kashlee K. 2 years ago on Google
Bryant Park is the perfect chill place to spend a few hours, have a picnic, meet some friends, get some sun and fresh air. Tip: There are bathrooms, but the lines are HUGE! Instead, go to Whole Foods and grab a drink or a salad or something, which gives you a receipt to use their bathroom instead. In the summer they put on movies after dark which a really fun thing to attend. Tip: There is free Wi-Fi in the park! There are places to eat inside the park if you didn’t bring your own food, like a few small cafes and a Fever Tree restaurant that is also licensed.

Iconic...clean restroom with fresh flowers. Games & periodicals available. People play ping pong, chess, backgammon. There is a carousel too. Bring a snack and s book

This is a magical event in a wonderful setup. The activities and food venues here are very good and there are enough options for the whole family to enjoy. Lots of drinks and foods to choose from. Ice skating is fun and everyone can enjoy a nice warn drink to cheer up the Christmas spirit. Parking can be a tough thing to do, so Uber or taxi is recommended for visiting.

Great place to go for the holidays. They have lots of shops selling cool things and food and everyone working there is just really friendly. There a little bit of something for everyone here. They even have an ice skating rink that isn’t too expensive depending on what time you go. I would recommend going here if you’re trying to get into the holiday spirit.

This is the perfect place to sit down to eat while watching an outdoor play or to lie on the grass and sunbathe on a sunny day or skate and shop in the winter! there is always something to do in this beautiful place surrounded by beautiful buildings! If you need go the bathroom ,a Whole Food is in the front of the park!😉

  • 4/5 Trista A. 2 years ago on Google
Cute park. During summer you can lay on the lawn but they were getting ready for the ice rink when I returned in October so there's nowhere really to sit. But in winter I love the shops that pop up. It's definitely a cute spot to relax.

  • 5/5 Maddy A. 2 years ago on Google
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday park is so fun to go to. The shops are AMAZING - there is so much selection and the prices are suprisingly reasonable. You could find holiday gifts for almost anyone here. There are a lot of shops with really cool art, plenty of food/drink options, and ice skating! You have to make a reservation in advance to ice skate. So much fun to come here and walk around with friends on a cold day!

This is a one of the must place that you have to visit once in NYC. The beauty of this place that is entertaining regardless of the season. It is really great during winter holidays with all of the small shops, bars and of course the ice-skating ring. Speaking of which it is in high demand and I suggest to make reservation to avoid waiting.

Music , places to sit, listen to music , watch movies on certain dates. Check the dates for free movies, You can eat elegantly at a restaurant or casually out side, clean free rest rooms for tourists and anyone. Please help the employees their keep it clean they work hard to make it smell good and keep clean. Very friendly as well. The tress here right in the middle of the city are just beautiful. Theres a merry go round and a ping pong table, which u have to put you name on if u want to play, And people come here just to relax. I came here because I said u know I'm always rushing by here. So I wanted to go on a casual date with this guy whom I liked but just getting to know him. So I got the courage to invite him here . Thought it would be nice and relaxing. So we met up , enjoyed each others company , got to know each other better and sat and talked for 3 hours . Not one dime was spent . All we wanted to do was be comfortable and a place we can trust with others being on top of us. . We really enjoyed my ourselves, and I was loving his company everything around me didnt matter at the time. We heard nice music around us. . All my pictures I took that day.

Great park in a great location. Always a lot to see and do. Their free music performances are top notch concerts (and many times provide picnic blankets for people to sit on). The various areas for entertainment around the park include ping pong and chess and a lending library (which has a great variety of kids books etc). We saw magic performances, yoga lessons, and a juggling class as well. Plenty of stuff to do for the whole family.

A green oasis in the dead centre of NYC on 5th Av. Chairs and tables are available all around the green lawn, with bakeries and shops nearby. Lovely view of the Empire State building and the Grand Library. Every week there are open movie projections and musical gatherings. In the evenings, though, beware of rats running around the bushes between the terraces.

Beautiful park located behind the New York Public Library. There is a green grass lawn surrounded by mature trees and gardens. Plenty of benches and chairs to sit, rest, people watch, and enjoy the view of the park surrounded by tall buildings new and old, notably the Empire State Building can be seen from this park. They have a stage set up, so I’m assuming they offer open air concerts and events. The park also has several food/cafe kiosks and nice restrooms!

Love this place make it a destination if you go to New York City. Lots of activities going on. They had a Jazz concert. They sell breakfast, coffee, Danish at the park. Just a great place to spend some time and relax. Love this place

  • 5/5 NISRINE A. 8 months ago on Google
Beautiful Place to have a walk, a cup of coffee or tea, and hang out with friends and family. You can grab a sandwich, a coffee or a drink from the several kiosks there or you can simply bring your own food and have your lunch break surrounded by trees if you work in the area. Many tables and chairs are there. I didn’t get the chance to join the outdoor movie there during my short visit to New York, but I bet that it would be such a great fun !! Right close to this park is the stunning public library , that is definitely worth a visit if you are around. One single con that this place has though: After sitting there for a half an hour waiting for my friends to meet me there, I got bitten by strange bugs ( not mosquitoes) that I left with many red spits all over my legs. It would be great if you take some bugs repellent with you or simply wear some pants and not shorts like I did!!

What a nice park in Manhattan! Right behind the public library. You can simply lie on the grass or grab one of the chairs to either eat waffles or bread and drink coffee from the lovely bakeries in the park or sit more comfortable when watching the picnic performances on the stage. I saw Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet on a warm evening last week and the feeling was amazing.

A really cool park in the center of one of the busiest places in the world. The Park provides a place for concerts, markets and ice skating rinks in the wintertime. Tons of people moving in and out and they have several restaurants and small eateries around the park. A gray place to rest at and people watch as well. The night we were there they were celebrating Hispanic Heritage month with plenty of music and food. Really cool!!!

Beautiful and small park in the heart of Manhattan next to 5th avenue. Christmas market in the park in 40 degree crisp winter weather. An absolutely electric fun environment! The round trip 24 block walk passed without even realizing it. New York has not lost its glitz. And the New York public library is its own FREE museum. It’s actually the workings to an old reservoir that served NYC.

Visited in the summer and again in late November- what a difference. Good kind of difference. Both times were amazing. This last time there were more vendors around the park selling everything from drinks, food, scarfs, socks, ect We headed to a restaurant nearby so we didn’t eat anything from here. There was an ice rink that wasn’t here on the summer. The park at night look absolutely beautiful.

Bryant Park's Winter Village is now open in NYC with exciting holiday shops, food, and activities through March 3, 2024. Its 17,000-square-foot ice-skating rink that’s free to use (if you bring your own skates) is always the highlight, but its Winter Village in all its holiday spirit is a close second. This year, over 180 new and returning kiosks will be there for you to sway through— it's like you're shopping in a European open market with a model train background surrounding you with all the beautiful New York Lights

This place is magical at Christmas! However, it is also so crowded!!! Better option to go ice skating than Rockerfeller Center! Great place to grab yummy foods, snacks and hot chocolate. There are so many local artisans selling their goods here as well. There is a gorgeous tree as well. Did I say how crowded it was? 🎅🤣 Really a fun little spot but my advice is go during a weekday, not on the weekends! It's really so busy.

  • 5/5 A.L. H. 3 months ago on Google New
As Christmas season in the city begins, I was walking through the area and couldn’t pass the chance to see the holiday market. All the booths were set up and the ice skating rink is ready for skaters. It was a cold night and they were giving away samples of hot chocolate. Plenty of places to sit if you get tired. The night I was there they were lighting the tree. One of the many great things the city has to offer.

Every year, I look forward to this holiday market. It’s really nicely organized in a way that helps it feel a bit intimate and not overly, crowded despite being in the city. Nice assortment of shops to explore. Great spot to find Christmas gifts that aren’t typical.
