Our home away from home. We stay here every time we visit Denmark and are always excited to be met by the wonderful staff, the cozy atmosphere, and the pristine & well equipped rooms. Don’t miss the fresh breakfast. The location is unbeatable, close to the BEST bars, restaurants, shopping, trains, metros, buses. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

The amenities and the room are very nice, clean, the hotel is full of character, the location is great to explore the city. I’d like to compliment on the great efforts the hotel put for sustainability of its operations. But! Be aware of the night club Arch which is next door. You can hear its basses and bits from room. When I called reception about the music, I was advised to check the website of the club. After some insisting questions, I was answered that the private party will go on until 12-1 and they can ask the club to lower the volume at 12. Apparently and surprisingly there’re no rules about making noise in the city after 10. I am flabbergasted that the hotel with all the stars can’t create decent conditions for sleep to its guests. Hotel needs also somehow to manage rooms between smokers and non smokers. The room has a sign that smoking is not allowed, but room has the smell of old smoke. I don’t know if this is a matter of cleaning or bad ventilation.

This place is really 4.5 stars and not 4. Overall a really pleasant stay in an excellent location, amazing breakfast buffet, and great service from the hotel staff. Hotel staff: Amazing service, friendly, and willing to help with whatever you need. Hotel breakfast: Wow. This is by far one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Europe. The juice bar and bread station alone are so worth the experience. They have green juices, ginger shots, freshly squeezed fruit juices, and various coffee and tea options. The bread station has some amazing danish sour doughs and pastries. The omelette and yogurt stations are also such great add-ons. Highly recommend paying for the breakfast add-on. Hotel room: Room was quite spacious for European standards (king-size room). The amenities are fine. The blankets are Scandinavian style meaning there’s two blankets on the bed. Not a big deal but it was interesting. Shower gets hot and the water pressure is pretty average. Location: Right in the main core of Copenhagen on a smaller, charming street. Supermarket, restaurants, coffee, metro are all nearby (2-3 min. walking distance). The location makes this hotel a prime option when thinking of staying in Copenhagen. Great way to sightsee, come back to rest, and go back out. Only drawback is that it can get quite loud at night from the passersby on the street. Overall, highly recommend the hotel for a pleasant stay in Copenhagen.

Perfection Start to finish. bellman/concierge, front desk, restaurant staff housekeeping... Every single staff member was utterly kind, attentive, and genuinely respectful. Absolutely wonderful experience. Lovely place top to bottom. Our room was perfection. We chose a balcony room, and it was one of our favorite parts of the Copenhagen experience. Listening/watching people walk the cobblestone street below with the cool breeze, chimes from the neighboring church. A wonderful place to start our 2 week Denmark vacation.

Was far from a 5 star hotel experience. Outdated. No privacy as cleaners enter whenever they want. Cleaners only make the bed, they never clean the room fully or refill complimentary water. You have to constantly ask for things as the service is terrible. I would make a petition to make this a 3 star hotel as in that case, worth it.

Great hotel, great beds and great breakfast. The lobby bar has a cozy atmosphere and a wide selection of tasteful cocktails. The bar manager Cameron knows his stuff!

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The design is gorgeous throughout and the bedrooms are spacious and quiet. The sauna and steam rooms are lovely too and the hotel is ideally located. My only complaint would be about the quality of refreshments provided in the room. I would expect better coffee than a cheap sachet of Nescafé in such an expensive hotel. Given how much guests are paying to stay - and given how expensive the bar is! - some complimentary snacks would be appreciated too.

I would give NO RECOMMENDATION to book this hotel. The experience of check in was lack of communication and flexibility. Arrived early due to red eye flight the staff couldn’t give out available hotel room for you to refresh and check in, insisting on you to upgrade your room and pay extra $40. It’s not about paying extra to upgrade, but it’s not a free choice of your own and feel being tricked. Be careful of their tricks, definitely not worth any stars.

A superb hotel located in the Latin Quarter of the capital. Our room was comfortable and the staff very professional. As a French person, it was a pleasure to have several people at the reception who could speak French. We were also very well advised. In short, only positive. An establishment to recommend!

We had a junior suite which was very spacious but tired. Furniture had signs of high wear, and the bathroom is desparately in need of modernising. Shower was very small and had mould in the grout and silicon sealent. The hotels location fantastic and the staff are very welcoming and do whatever they can to make sure you have a comfortable stay.

Great location, very clean and with a great personel. Polite and helpful. Rooms are way too small and impractical since there is no place to put your clothes, a necessity when you are on the go for 2 weeks. Really pity, because the common areas are spacious and beautiful, though the size of a room is very essential especially if you pay 350€ a night for it.

Beautiful hotel but with that everything is said. They tried charging me for bringing a friend in my room that stayed at the hotel already. No room service so i had to order to the hotel. Also went to the reception for ketchup and mayonaise, but they did not want to go out of their way to get it for me. I was even happy to pay for it…

We spent three nights here on a trip to Denmark, Sweden and Norway. We found our room very comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast delicious, with lots of plant based options. Would definitely stay again. Location is very convenient as well!

Loved it. Room was nice and had the softest bed with warm duvet, it was perfect. Had Xmas dinner at the hotel too. Pricey but lovely . Staff was very helpful as well. Great Location. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We stayed here during a weekend city break. Ideally located, with most attractions within reasonable walking distance. The hotel is modern, and the staff were very friendly. Only slight irritations were that we had some noise from neighbouring bars despite being on the 3rd floor and the windows closed, and the staff didn’t offer to assist us with our bags (given that it’s a 5-star hotel).

Lovely location in the centre of town. Nice bar (could have done without the DJ though), nice drinks. Breakfast was superb as well. The friendliness of the staff was amazing.

The hotel and staff were all lovely. The only reason for 3 stars is on our first morning at 7:30am we were woken up by drilling. When we complained we were told that it was renovations and would be going on for months. We were offered different rooms but none as nice as the room we had booked, so we stayed in our original room. The workman were told not to start drilling before 9am, so that was better. This is the only negative thing about this lovely hotel. It's pricey but we found Copenhagen in general very expensive.

Had an excellent stay at the Skt Petri hotel. The room was spotless and well-furnished, and despite my eagerness to explore Copenhagen, I had half a mind to lounge in the room and enjoy the amenities. The staff were very friendly, and their service made me feel like a VIP. Given these qualities and the great location, I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

What a lovely hotel! The grand entrance with bar and restaurant brings in so much light and a lovely place for a later afternoon bie and drinks. All of the staff and concierges were very helpful and secured reservations at excellent restaurants, plus a walking guided tour. (that was expensive but also excellent) The rooms are a bit small, though we had a balcony on the top floor - so could see over the city. I heard from other guests that lower floors were dark. Super close to everything we wanted, walked everywhere from hotel (except airport).

Hotel has beautiful interior design , room was big , clean and room service was great. We got the best breakfast that one can have. Hotel employees was always very helpful , we were here in easter that is why they had a game for our 4 years old she enjoyed chocolate game . ( They hide many chocolate at our room and our 4 years found them ) They had many more but these were what we interested.

Private Christmas Event with the company. We had agreed on a menu and open bar in good time and had already payed a fortune. The food was mediocre, multiple items from the menu missing, sauce was forgotten to the main dish which ended up being served once the food was low temperature. Not enough sides for 45 people. Drinks were not freshly mixed but 90% of was pisswater on tap. The servers didn't know anything and when we asked for music they didn't know how to operate the music system and decided to go for the "no speakers" excuse while the room was filled with BOSE speakers. They ended up closing the bar 15min too early and moved us without asking. Worst service ever. Do not ruin your Christmas, birthdays or other celebrations here like we did.

Stylish and clean rooms with attentive staff! Well located in between the metro and nearby tourist and shopping spots. My only bugbear was the lack of toothbrushes, extra pillows/blankets that come standard in other four star hotels that I have stayed at previously.

Not cheap, but a lovely hotel in great central location. The staff were all excellent, the breakfast buffet very good and our room well appointed and comfortable (big enough but not huge). In-room snacks/mini bar very pricey.

The room was great once we were moved to a street view room. The interior rooms facing the lobby are very strange. Hotel was wonderful. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Sauna and steam in the basement is lovely.

People very nice , room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, but the shower in the bathroom was impossible! The shower head hose was old and not pliable and it kept turning out of the tub spraying into the bathroom. The sink was clogged. It killed the entire stay as the floor in the bathroom was always wet! Since it was hot we too. Quite a few showers ,dreaded it!

Perfect central location, only 15mins from the airport. The service from setting foot into this hotel was exceptional! All staff are professional and friendly. We had a lovely Skyline View room, great size and lovely and clean. My favourite part of our stay was the amazing breakfast buffet, the best I have experience in all my years of travelling. So much choice, and all fresh. Lovely atmosphere in the lobby restaurant whilst dining. Will definitely be back.

Great, Amazing, close in centrum, awesome hotel. Very clean, amazing breakfast. Friendly staff. For a good night rest and some good time out. A lot of sightings nearby. Just fifteen minutes from the airport. Quick check in. If you are visiting Copenhagen, this is your place to stay!

This is a modern hotel right in the heart of it all. Can't imagine a better location. Rooms are on the smallish side but have everything you might want. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous.

Staying here now, we are very pleased with our beautiful room with a huge balcony with outstanding view, the front desk and concierge have been very helpful. We love the bar by far best old fashions we have had. We also loved the hotel restaurant very good food. The only downside was the air condition in the room was a bit tricky to start and the bell boy had no idea how to start it which in my opinion he should have know that and also explain the room amenities and lights. Other than that we would highly recommend the hotel, the location is very central and the whole vibe of the hotel is great

Loved this hotel when I stayed there last week. Extremely friendly staff and service was great. They have a great spacious gym and I appreciated the breakfast with all the healthy options. I’m going back to CPH next week after a short trip in Paris and I’m looking forward to going back to this hotel and spending my last day in CPH before I head back to the U.S. great rooms and very central to everything! Thank you for taking good care of us

Amazing stuff in Reception If you ask them about anything they will definitely try to help you as much as possible. The decoration is really good and you get help from the stuff for almost anything. The breakfast is a bit poor, could be better

Very good location. Can be a bit of street noise/parties but nothing too bad. Rooms good. Lobby very nice. Breakfast good. Staff very friendly and helpful. However more than a couple of minor slip ups. Feels more like a top 4 star rather than strong 5 star but I would stay there again.

Very nice hotel! Service was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was really nice (but a bit too expensive). I’d say it’s rare to find a hotel this good for the price we paid, extremely good value for money. Next time in Copenhagen I would definitely be staying here again, and highly recommend it to anyone else going to Copenhagen.

Upgraded to a top floor exterior looking room which was worth it. Otherwise the other rooms give on an inside atrium. You cannot open the windows and obviously have no view. Otherwise this large hotel has a decent breakfast place and pleasant common areas. Overall decent value for money.

Unfortunately our experience was very disappointing, we expected the hotel to live up to their service. We personally went to the hotel to state that our stay was in connection with our wedding and therefore we wanted them to do something special out of our stay and they assured us that they would take care of it. But on the day itself we enter the room and they had not done anything ready at all. They didn't help at all and they were so passive and the next day I just wanted to get out of the hotel as soon as possible. It was definetely not a special honeymoon experience. If you want to have a luxury experience that should be memorable, I do not recommend skt. petri.

Fantastic hotel - stylish, cozy, well centred with spacious rooms. Personnel was attentive and accommodating. Beds were our favorite including a baby cot. Breakfast was one of the best one can expect from a city hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. On the small downsides - wifi was very weak, making it almost impossible to use. Spa would've been nice to have too. Would definitely stay again nevertheless.

Skt Petri was neatly detailed, with lots of care given to make us feel comfortable. The service, the room, the breakfast, the decoration - it all created a cozy and intricate experience. Choose it if you wish for a low-stress environment for your copehengagen visit!

Excellent experience. Very friendly and competent service. Great breakfast and overall highly recommended. Will stay again when in Copenhagen 👍🏻

  • 3/5 Will R. 2 years ago on Google
Very good service and excellent location. I did not find that the room was a 5-star, for example the climate control wasn't adjustable, and the light switches to the bathroom were oddly placed due to the odd layout of the bathroom itself. I stayed in one of the upper floors facing into the courtyard and the view was uninspiring, not worth the upcharge. The room had a "budget-chic" feeling, but not luxurious. For example the clothing wardrobe was a bit wonky with the side not properly attached, and constructed of low-budget, laminated, darkly-painted plywood. In fact the room just felt dark. The towels were on the small side, the shower water pressure was medium, but not strong. The drain pipes in the sink are pvc plastic and made the plasticky-sound when the water drained. In other words, the plumbining fixtures are more budget than luxury. However, the room was clean, the bed was absolutely comfortable, and the location is outstanding. I found the staff to be helpful, but not cheerful. I would have given 4 stars if the room had been more nicely designed and furnished, and if the hotel was more accurately presented as something a bit less than 5-star.

We arrived at 7am after a long flight. We were hoping to put our bags somewhere while waiting for our room. They didnt have any of the double deluxe rooms available, but for a small fee we got upgraded to a suit and could check in right away. That made our day. Staff was great all over the hotel.

Had a fantastic stay at Skt Petri! Room was clean and comfortable with a balcony that looked out over the cathedrals of Copenhagen. The breakfast buffet with champagne was amazing, the location perfect, and the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Highly recommended!

Great breakfast. Nice room with great facilities and wonderful staff. My only negative was the bed was a little bit soft and therefore uncomfortable but that is a personal preference.

Wonderful hotel, slightly confused about the beds as I thought it would be a double but ended up being two singles. however, the staff is was always helpful, the breakfast is truly great and the area is also stunning.

We stayed here during our honeymoon in the Scandinavia. The hotel has a great location, walking distance to several attractions. They gave us a free upgrade which was really nice. The room was large and very comfortable despite being on the 1st floor. The bathroom was also big but the shower space was small. However, this was the best shower we had during our 2-week Scandinavia trip. Lots of water pressure and pretty cool and modern shower. We only had breakfast at the restaurant which was included in our rate. It was really good everyday! There were lots of options and fresh made eggs and omeletes. They need to improve in a couple areas to be perfect: 1. Install a thick blackout on the windows so it’s not so light in the room. It was hard to sleep in with the light coming from the large windows so early in the morning. 2. Change the comforter to a thinner option as it was really hot to sleep with. Although the air conditioner worked well, the comforter was too hot and they didn’t have another option.

Incredible hotel, very well located in the heart of the city. The service is perfect, and the room is so spacious! Special mention for the breakfast buffet with fresh and very varied products. The bottomless brunch served on the hidden garden is great too! A wonderful stay

Location is excellent. Short block from Norreport metro station, and easy to walk to sites from the hotel. Staff was very nice. My 3rd floor room was small, but clean, pleasant, very quiet, and bed was comfortable. Only complaint was one night I wanted to grab a quick dessert and brandy in the hotel restaurant, and while the wait staff was very friendly, the service was pretty slow.

Stayed here one night in August, great high end hotel with very good and personal service. Bed is great, comfy and large. Bedroom large enough and the bathroom is a dream. Large and luxurious. Weather permitting, try the outdoor area for a drink, really nice.

Lovely hotel with a great breakfast spread. The hotel lobby where the bar is serves as the breakfast area too. The high ceiling and large windows make the place very comfortable to sit in. Service is also very prompt and friendly and the coffee is Greta too!

Perfect place to stay thats close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment in downtown Copenhagen. Short walk to transit hubs, yet quiet for when its time for relaxation. The staff is super accommodating and eager to help. The rooms were reasonably priced and the place is environmentally conscious for those that care about our environment. Depending on what your plans are, it seems to fit them all.
