We are driving on the highway to the Green Sands Beach, everyone was hungry so this stop was a very good find for us. First off the location is a garden paradise. It is so lush and beautiful. My girls got the biggest kick out of seeing the green lizards. We met another 5 year old who was so excited to show my girls the lizard he had caught. Our server is one of the sisters here and she was so kind and generous. I loved the shirt she was wearing. Hehe wish I had taken a pic. We went with her recommendation of fish and chips both for us and for the kids. The fish and chips was piping hot and delicious. We all throughly enjoyed our meal. We had bought papaya at the fruit stand a few miles down. Our server was so kind to cut the papaya and scoop out the seeds for us. This place is a true gem. Highly recommend!

We’ve been on the islands for 4 weeks now and this was honestly the best food we‘ve had!! The home made marinated fish&chips is just from another planet. Also the fish tacos with pineapple slaw was just wow! You get a free large water and also sodas are big. Highly highly recommend! The service was spot on and very friendly. I wish we lived here …

This place is quite unique, it's more of a shack with some tables outside, but don't let that fool you. The food here is AMAZING. You looking for Ono fish? This place has got you, and the Fish and Chips are amazing. Perfectly fried, though we could only get the panko friend, they were out of the beer batter. The Ono fish tacos are amazing too, the pineapple slaw will help ensure the taco doesn't feel too dry. You also might get a few friends walking by, as they have chickens and a rooster, as well as a cat.

The fish and chips are divine, I went with the beer-battered option. Also had the Ono Nachos which were just as amazing. The Server was very friendly and service was quick. My party sat outside and it was a beautiful garden paradise. 5/5 across the board. Don’t miss out on this restaurant gem of Hawaii. -Sorry there’s no pictures of the food. It looked so good I had to eat it immediately!

We ordered a 1.5 panko fish with upgrade to onion rings for 2 adults to share. Amazing, the food arrived piping hot with crispy edges. Even when it cooled down, nothing was soggy. Spicy tartar, tartar, and ranch provided in small cups. Meal was fantastic! Cold water was self-serve (also an option for hot water, but it was way too warm to try the button). We arrived around 11:35am for lunch and had our pick of any table. We chose one in the back patio (entire restaurant is open-air) and found a cute, nonchalant cat. (Bonus points for having a shop cat!) Service was quick and the staff was lovely & friendly. We were back on the road for more farm visits fairly quickly.

Stopped for lunch and had the world famous fish and chips which were really good and the onion rings. To die for! We will definitely come visit again. Staff was friendly too. Overall great experience!

A decent place for lunch. Self service for sodas and place your tray after you eat. Tried world famous fish and chips, coleslaw, onion rings and chicken tenders.

Food was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and efficient. One of our best meals in Kona. The price is very reasonable too. Such a charming garden/seating area. Fish and Chips and Burgers were amazing!!
