This place is really nice. There is a shop for souvenirs, basically handmade bags, decorative pieces and wooden things. There is a chocolate store and factory making and selling chocolate made from authentic Venezuelan cacao. There is a restaurant and an art exhibition. The view is beautiful ❤️
An excellent place to hang around, beautiful gardens, very quiet, delicious food, art galleries, private parking, security
A lovely place with diverse shops but not cheap, however Caracas isn't these days 😂🙄. The walk alone into the chocolate shop is worth the visit - simply sniffing heaven. Café is great. Place is very secure with a relaxed atmosphere.
Always a pleasure to come here. My daufther loves running around and the hot chocolate from cacao de origen is just the best
What an amazing place!! It is really a getaway to like another dimension in Caracas. Beautiful and peaceful gardens that invite to meditate, adorable cafe shop and even a cacao processing plant that you can visit to see how they make the most rich and delicious prize winning chocolate!!
I think it's a perfect place to go with your friend, family, couple, etc and the chocolate is a very good experience. Don't forget this green park.
We had lunch at Alfresko where i had curry chicken which was delicious. The lemonade was also very tasty. For desert we had the lemon pie. The garden terrace is very nice and has a fresh breeze flowing through. After lunch we went next door to the bookstore to get some books for our newborn.
It is quite uncommon that i rate some place at perfection level. But here, the Hacienda Cultural sweats authenticity, genuineness and ... the feeling of a slower passage of time or of some effect like "Back to the future" the eponymous Spielberg movie. The place historically was a cane sugar and papelon factory in the time of "Los Amos del Valle" and then after end of its operations became home to a Dutch origin artist and his Venezuelan wife. Nowadays small cantinas , one chocolate shop and an interesting bookshop. The place is set in La Trinidad an otherwise busy district of Caracas. A place NOT TO BE MISSED.
