Charrao
Island
is
of
the
beaten
path
and
The
Island
Sanctuary
is
a
beautiful
villa/house
right
in
the
center.
Now
if
you
are
looking
for
the
Goa
with
loads
of
tourists
and
night
life,
this
is
not
the
place
for
you.
However
if
you
are
a
group
of
people
who
need
a
break
from
urban
madness,
this
is
certainly
the
right
place.
This
is
a
small
Goan
village
which
fortunately
has
not
been
discovered
by
tourists.
Approach
is
by
and
large
by
ferry
which
reduces
the
number
of
vehicles
around.
If
you
have
your
own
vehicle,
Panaji
is
just
a
short
ferry
ride
away.
The
Property
consists
of
3
rooms
in
the
main
villa
and
2
independent
units
next
to
a
medium
size
pool.
The
whole
property
is
very
green
with
a
lot
of
birds
and
you
wake
up
to
the
chirping
of
birds.
All
rooms
are
large
and
well
maintained
and
extremely
clean
The
2
independent
rooms
have
the
sleeping
area
up
a
flight
of
stairs
with
the
bathroom
and
a
sitting
area
and
a
small
kitchenette
downstairs.
The
sitting
area
outside
the
room
looks
onto
greenery
and
the
pool.
I
did
not
get
a
good
look
at
the
villa
rooms
but
they
seemed
very
spacious.
There
is
a
very
nice
sitting
area
again
just
green
and
so
also
a
dining
area.
One
of
the
rooms
had
a
massive
tub
There
is
a
free
lance
cook
who
comes
on
call
and
can
whip
up
delicious
food.
Alwyn
one
of
the
caretakers
is
normally
kind
enough
to
purchase
all
ingredients.
Do
fix
the
rate
with
the
cook
before.
Breakfast
is
ample
and
will
keep
you
going
for
long
The
other
alternative
for
food
is
a
place
nearby
called
Lafayette
who
can
deliver
food
to
the
property
or
also
allow
you
to
eat
at
their
place.
Note
that
this
is
not
a
restaurant.
Dean
the
host
treats
you
as
his
personal
friend
and
really
goes
out
of
his
way
to
make
you
feel
at
home.
He
is
always
5
minutes
from
a
call
or
whatsapps
away
however
busy
his
schedule.
There
is
quality
service
from
Sushil
and
Alwyn
the
caretakers.
They
are
always
around
but
at
the
same
time
not
very
visible
which
gives
you
the
feeling
of
privacy
Tips:

There
are
ample
things
to
do
around
but
it
would
be
a
good
idea
to
be
prepared
with
interests
before.
This
property
is
ideal
if
you
are
a
group
of
people
who
need
all
5
rooms
or
atleast
2
or
3
If
2
required
opt
for
the
rooms
else
the
3
villa.
Do
note
that
elderly
people
might
have
issues
in
climbing
the
stairs
in
case
of
the
pool
side
rooms
If
you
plan
to
move
around
a
lot
it
would
be
good
to
have
your
own
car
but
there
are
taxis
that
can
be
arranged
at
short
notice
