Visited this place for the 4th or 5th time. Amazing place for sea food with a lovely atmosphere. Located by the river, which keeps the place cool with gentle breeze. Ample of parking space available. Seafood served is fresh and tasty. Do try chicken tandoori, one of the best I would recommend. A good place for family dine in or even for office team outing.

The restaurant, while spacious and breezy, is priced high for the food that is being served. The mushroom chilli (veg) was delicious but the seafood was a disappointment. The butter garlic squids tasted good but were rubbery. It's probably a nice place for tourists visiting the Old Goa attractions nearby but not a place that will impress the locals. Our order: 2 lime waters + 3 starters Bill amount: 850 per person.

It was a restaurant situated in GOA. Quite spacious and many tables are there to sit. Service is good. Food quality is enough and good in test. Large varities of alcoholic beverages are there. Parking are also available. The Goa tourist buses are coming here for lunch. Nice place.

The restaurant is very spacious and breezy with ample parking space. This place is suitable for tourists visiting nearby area and less impressive for locals. Food over here is good nothing to hype about. We tried Chicken crispy, squids golden fry, kolhapuri gravy with garlic naan & lime soda. Quantity they serve is sufficient for two people. Pricing compare to the taste is bit high. This place is always crowded with tourist, so much of Chaos & noise in the background. it took us 1 hr to place order & get food.

At Darya Deger Restaurant in Goa, our dining experience was a mixed bag of flavors and efficiency. We kicked off our meal with the Honey Chicken starter, which proved to be a satisfying introduction. The subtle sweetness of the honey complemented the succulence of the chicken, setting a positive tone for the rest of the dining adventure. The Fresh Lime served as a refreshing interlude, cleansing our palate for the main course. Opting for Ghee Rice and Chicken Curry, we found the combination to be satisfactory, though not exceptional. The flavors were decent, falling into the realm of "okay." The Goan Thali, however, stood out with its array of traditional dishes, providing a more authentic taste of Goan cuisine. Despite the restaurant being bustling at peak afternoon hours, service surprised us with its promptness. Our orders, including the intricacies of Ghee Rice and Chicken Curry, were efficiently delivered within a mere 5 minutes. This swift service was a commendable aspect, especially considering the peak-hour rush. Darya Deger offers a decent culinary experience with highlights like the Honey Chicken starter and the authentic Goan Thali. The prompt delivery in a busy setting adds to the overall positive impression, making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking a mix of flavors and efficiency in Goa.

How beautiful and tasty were food! It was my first trip to Goa...and I wanted to explore a real Goa food .. I have ordered the King fish thali and my husband ordered the chicken tali. In Fish thali there was: 1. Kokum drink 2 Fry Kind fish 3 Plain rice 4 Sprouts 5. Tisryo Corop (Seashells cooked in some masalas) 6. Fishe carry 7. Prowns cooked with some vegetables 8. Cooked Dry fish ( don't try if you can't tolerate the smell) 9. Some fry vegetables,I guess Mulyachi Bhaji 10. Small banana

The taste of the food was good but the prices were high... we had ordered just 3 items : batter fried squids, rava masala chonak fry and Bangkok chicken and 2 lime juices . The bill was almost 2k. Hence it’s overpriced.

Omg, idk how this restaurant is 4 stars. The taste of the food is decent but it can give you diarrhoea like it gave my peers. Also save youself some time and money by NOT ordering any Cocktail/Mocktails as its by far the worst we drank till date. Every drink tasted like cough Syrup. Thank me later.

The restaurant is ok, over hyped and very touristic. 1. Over priced 2. Poor service - when crowded less staff to attend. mismatch in delivered food vs ordered ones. 3. extremely spicy 4. But do serve fresh food

  • 5/5 Avadhut D. 2 years ago on Google
Very good place, no double about taste. All items order was delicious. Fish was costly (may be it was start of rain season and fishing was stopped). One surely taste there, chicken crispy and chicken Bangkok 😋

The place has ample parking area. No view. The curry was not fresh seemed to be prepared out of pre made curry paste. Muscles though served hot and of decent size but were mix of fresh and stale pieces. Honestly disappointed with the quality food as compared to my last visits which have been very pleasant.

Nice place. A cafe type restaurant with decent food in midst of greenery. If in the area, can be visited.

Good parking space, good seating capacity fast service & just abit inside from main road. Also must try paan at paan stall at entrance of hotel.

OK place to have your meal (lunch) after your visit to the Old Goa churches. The quality of the food is good, but the price is on the higher side, compared to the ambience and the overall standard of the restaurant. But again, there's not much to choose from around, if you are in this part of the world.
