We haven't visited Claws & Paws in a few years due to Covid, this time we brought my 17 year old step-son. Last time we were here we saw that it looked like they were expanding the park and we were definitely excited to see that they indeed expanded areas, made some enclosures bigger and moved some of the exhibits. My family and I enjoyed our visit and will be back to see what else Claws & Paws has in store for us.

Had a nice little family outing here today. This was my second time here, and it made for an enjoyable experience. Prices for admission are reasonable, there's a good diversity of animals, and the gift shop is stocked with all sorts of zoo themed items. Tickets are also available for various animal feedings. There are public restrooms as well as limited food and drink onsite. The walking trails are sometimes uneven with rocks, sticks, mud, puddles, etc. While I don't find the trails problematic, some may. Overall, it was a fun time.

We basically had the entire zoo to ourselves. The giraffes feeding times end at 4pm so don't miss those! They started packing up some of the animals before the zoo officially closed which was a bit disappointing. Also, don't be the only two people in the petting zoo with food unless you want goats to hoof and kick you! And definitely see the giraffe - he is SO friendly and named Jethro and I definitely wanted to take him home with me!

Been coming here for decades. Small, very walkable Animal Park for all ages. See it all in about two hours. Snack bar is very reasonable, or bring your own snacks. Picnic tables.

Beautiful zoo for people of all ages. Wonderful healthy animals. Went to get out of the house for a little while. Had an amazing time. Our only gripe(s) would be more food options at the food court as well some of the habitats should be bigger for the animals. All in all fun time and would reccomend.

Hands down our favorite zoo. The animals are close enough to see them in detail but safely enclosed so no one can get hurt. They have a lot of animals smaller zoos usually don't too, like lions, wolves, and giraffes.

Cute animal park! The drive there was a bit of surprise. Lots of back roads and in the middle of nowhere. There was no cell service in the area and that was unfortunate! The animals looked well taken care of, in my opinion. It was a fun time!

Enjoyed a day here. Found coupons online. Arrived first thing and they got busy as the day went on. Can feed and pet goats, sheep, mules, deer (or maybe deer-type things). Kiddos loved this. There are other feedings that happen at specific times. A good variety of animals including big cats! They have lions, tigers, jaguars, pumas, cheetahs… I don’t love lizards and reptiles, so I skipped that. They also had two signs that likely answered the most frequently asked questions: where is the animals’ water and what do they do with the animals in winter. You’ll have to go to find out. Another local guide said in their review: “The walking trails are sometimes uneven with rocks, sticks, mud, puddles, etc. While I don't find the trails problematic, some may.” I completely concur.

The Zoo seems well maintained and the animals didn’t appear to stressed out with a smaller crowd of visitors. The map they give you is well laid out and easy to plan your visit. They have a petting zoo with deer, goats and sheep and the grandkids loved it! Jethro the Giraffe is very friendly and will allow some lucky guests to pet him. I try to make my photos count so I’m only sharing a few, buy a ticket and see the animals in person it’s worth the visit!

Claws and Paws is truly something magical, It's a beautiful zoo tucked into the woods of the Poconos. Very friendly and caring staff, and even more beautiful and loving animals. The drive here for Jethro alone is worth it! He is such a loving and friendly giraffe that stole both my Girlfriend and I's heart's! Overall this is a great place to bring the family and friends for a day out! Will definitely be back! We love you Jethro! 💜

Cute little zoo! Lots of animals and friendly staff. Strollers are tough to maneuver as the paths are pretty rocky and they aren't allowed in some of the attraction sections. The snack bar was very reasonably priced I was surprised in today's pricing. We got nachos with cheese and 2 drinks and it was $7.50.

This is the closest thing to heaven on earth! Beautiful greenery surrounds you as you see the adorable animals in their habitats. Really family feel. This was one of the best zoos I have ever been too. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and obviously care of the animals. All the animals seemed healthy and well taken care of. I loved Jethro the Giraffe, the turtles, the Lorikeets, and the petting zoo. The goats, sheep and deer are my new best friends an ld I love them fur-ever. Word of caution, monitor small children in the petting zoo and these sweet potatoes are know to push down little ones.

We had an amazing time! We purchased tickets to the giraffe and the lory parrot feedings, but the line for the giraffe was way too long so we skipped it. Feeding the birds was so much fun. Many of the animals were asleep, but we still got some great pictures. Petting and feeding the goats and deer was my favorite . Definitely a lot of fun.

C&P is a family favorite! We have been coming here for many years. The staff takes great care of their charges and shows them a lot of love. The educational talks are great fun & very informative. From the bird feeding to giraffe feeding (lets not forget the petting zoo area and turtle feeding) the hands on experience for the kids is a lot of fun! They have a nice variety and some of their charges (animals they care for) come from rescue type situations. A must see on your trip to the Poconos!

It was a nice day to be out in the zoo but I think it was a bit overpriced for how small the zoo was. It was $23.50 per adult. For kids being the target audience for places like these, I was disappointed how gravely the path was the entire zoo. Not stroller friendly at all. It was a struggle. Even though half of the animas were hidden in the shades, some of them were active and there was also a couple places where it was interactive and live feedings. A small portion was Dino themed, which was very cute, and the kids played there for a bit, digging for bones and playing with some puzzles. Overall, worth going if you live nearby.

The zoo was so much larger and more varied than I anticipated. Another plus is that it’s so shaded, which made it pleasant visit. It definitely doesn’t feel like a formal, professional zoo. I didn’t see anyone who looked like an employee unless we were buying tickets or petting zoo food. It feels like a labor of love. Also, I wish their site (only on Facebook) was more communicative about ticket prices. In May 2023 the prices ranged from $18.50-$23.50.

We love coming to Claws N Paws. Cute little zoo to bring kids. Food options and good and reasonably priced. Lots of shade walking around especially for those hot days.

Loved it! The kids loved it. The lions were the best ! You can feed the giraffe, birds, tortoise and petting zoo area. Small but worth it. Trails are alitte tuff for strollers.

It was small but contained a lot of animals. The paths are natural so watch your step. What I didn't like about it was how tiny each enclosure was. Most of the animals looked stressed. I obviously could be wrong. The positive was there were many to look at. The negative was they all need bigger and more natural surroundings.
