Being
someone
who
reads
others
reviews
before
visiting,
I
was
a
little
concerned
to
see
some
negative
reviews
for
this
restaurant.
But
as
we
were
in
Carcassonne
the
week
before
our
2nd
wedding
anniversary,
and
having
celebrated
our
1st
at
David
Toutain
another
2*
restaurant,
we
wanted
to
make
this
a
tradition
so
decided
to
give
it
a
chance.
We
were
so
pleased
that
we
did
because
it
really
was
a
wonderful
evening!
Of
course
the
decor
and
service
was
impeccable
but
this
you
come
to
expect
when
eating
at
this
level
of
restaurant.
Being
able
to
enjoy
the
beautiful
weather
eating
on
the
terrace
with
a
beautiful
garden
around
was
also
a
big
plus.
But
the
thing
we
care
most
about
is
the
food
and
this
is
where
we
were
blown
away!
The
balance
was
perfect,
we
tasted
different
flavours
and
combinations,
and
did
not
experience
the
disappointment
that
we
have
had
at
a
number
of
other
high
end
restaurants.
Having
chef
Franck
Putelat
say
hello
to
each
diner
is
a
really
nice
touch.
We've
been
to
many
expensive
and
michelin
starred
restaurants
and
have
not
experienced
this
before.
When
you
have
just
enjoyed
a
wonderful
meal
it
is
normal
to
want
to
thank
the
person
who
made
it
for
you,
and
this
finishes
the
evening
on
a
real
high
and
you
absolutely
feel
that
every
euro
spent
was
worth
it!
We
would
totally
recommend
this
to
anyone
wanting
to
enjoy
a
fabulous
taste
sensation,
in
beautiful
surroundings
and
with
perfect
service.
