Came in for a late night dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough. Miguel took the time to go over and translate the menu with us and made some great recommendations. Try the «  ´Choco Frito com maionese de tints de choco ». All around, great experience!!!

SO GOOD! We had two dishes from their day special menu and a couple sides from the main menu. The seafood was divine, so fresh. Really juicy - I drank up all the sauce! And on top of all of that, it was incredibly reasonably priced too. Finished the evening with a VERY satisfied belly!

Great restaurant, family run, nice waiters, great for a home cooked meal with love. Recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful little restaurant in Carcavelos. Lovely cosy and relaxed atmosphere away from the bustle of the beach front. Miguel and the staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful and have given us some fantastic recommendations on local wine and dishes as well as helping us with the Portuguese translations. Everything is delicious and excellent value. Have been twice for dinner and loved the cuttlefish, clams and razor clams. I will be back again! Highly recommend.

It was absolutely worth it! We had the best tapas, all home made and fresh. Very friendly family operation. Everything was more than we expected. Couldn’t be happier! We’d highly recommend this restaurant !

It is not a restaurant, it is a tapas restaurant ! The menu portions were small, being a tapas . The food was tasty, but everything we ordered was tapas hence fried. They has also a side menu, but the options for kids were unexistant. Not a good option if you are hungry or to go there with kids. Ah, and the restaurant opened at 7, one of the kitchen staff (he enered wearing the white apron from the carr to enter the 'restaurant' )came at 7.30 and they served first another table that came after us, probably because they were familiar with the people on that table, even though we had 3 small kids. Mindblowing ! Luckily for me that i had already prepared at home a sandwitch for the kids to share . Pro: waither tonus was great but not sufficient for the whole experience

Absolutely delicious food, super-tasty dishes...the tempura prawns are a must and the pulled pork (slow-cooked in garlic and wine) sandwich was excellent. Can't praise Miguel enough for his exceptional cocktail making skills...breathtakingly good - Basil Smash/Mint Whisky Sour/Margaritas all amazing. This family have chosen to share their wonderful, authentic, Portuguese culinary skills (and creative mixology) and it's worthy of at least 5 stars. Top quality restaurant, an absolute gem. Wish I could try everything on the menu. We'll done!

This family run restaurant is not to be missed. The food is exceptional from traditional Portuguese dishes with a bit of Paula’s (Mother/chef) added magic , pulled pork , wonderful seafood , chorizo sausage, Prawns .. Daily specials .. Miguel the absolutely charming host/waiter cocktail creator par excellence .. incredible basil smash (you must try ) whisky sour , margaritas (yes we tried them all) He’s so talented and passionate The food , the family , atmosphere , you can taste the love in everything they do … and the price !? Amazing value .. treat yourself this is an experience not to be missed .. undiscovered gem … 5 star gastronomy at cafe prices , the charm and warmth of this family … pure delight .. unforgettable experience..
