This is a small, well-organised centre with a relaxed vibe. The lessons happen just in front of the cabin at Praia Matadouro which is sand and rock/reef. Our instructor was Victor and he really listens to each student talk about their experience level, and is very clear about safety in the water and how the lesson will run. He watches you carefully so he can give tips each time you come around to get on the wave which was super useful. We had a lot of fun and everyone got standing up (except me but I am a very slow learner in everything 😂) Thanks so much!

The best surf school! I took there private lessons for more than two weeks. Even when I moved to Peniche I was coming to Surf Center just to take lessons there because you cant compare it to any other school. Super professional instructors, friendly and helpful staff. All the equipment - boards, wet suits and shoes are new and in perfect condition. Everything is super organized. Special thanks to my instructors - Sansao and Reinaldo. They made me fall in love with surfing! I learned so much. For sure I will come back soon. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for amazing time!!

I had an incredible time here! On my very first day, I was able to catch some waves due to good instructing. The instructor was patient and knowledgeable, making me feel at ease as a beginner. The equipment was top-notch, and the location was perfect. Later on I was able to catch bigger waves all by myself. Good times.

Can see why it's so highly rated, really friendly, happy to give advice about the local spots and flexible if the tides aren't working out etc. Group of 6 of us have come back every day of our trip to rent board and wetsuits. Their instructors out on the water really look after their students, recommended all round.

This was the third time coming back to ericeira and taking surf lessons at surf center! I always come back here and get a really warm welcome! The crew is super professional, very friendly and is really pushing you to your potential! Especially the lessons with my surf teacher Andre were really nice as he has been there from the beginning of my surf journey so he knows what I can do! A very big thanks to the surf center crew! Hired a board whilst visiting Ericeira from the UK. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who even went to the length of posting my driving licence back to UK when I had inadvertently left it with them. Would definitely use again if lucky enough to be back in Ericeira.

I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. It’s a really great vibe there. All the coach’s are very encouraging and motivating . IF YOU GO TO ERICEIRA GO HAVE A LESSON WIHT THEM . Lara, the recepcionista is really kind. I had an awesome experience.
