Incredibly kind and friendly hosts, Cristina and Inés. We have the best impressions of the lovely town Figueira da Foz, opened up to us so soulful and cozy thanks to this place. Cristina told us about the history of the hotel, gave us really useful recommendations and when checkout, made a photo of me and my husband (I always appreciate this opportunity). Beautiful design, great breakfast, perfectly clean charming house where we would gladly come back. It feels like everything is made with love in this hotel

In the historical city center of Figueira da Foz, near the church and the old market, this small hotel stands out for the care of its renovations. It is no surprise, in fact, that the restoration was supervised by scholars, architects and art historians. The rooms, like the whole building, are tastefully furnished and very well sound-proofed. The breakfast is complete, with local products and continental options.

Super nice experience, lovely restored house close to the marina, very nice rooms plus two apartments, breakfast room and shared separate living area — exceptional hospitality and warm welcome. Loved our stay!

We had the best stay! The building is beautifully restored wilst honoring it's history. Rooms are cosy yet comfortable. Softest white linnen sheets, amazing shower and a breakfast that makes you want to stay another day. And Inês is the host that makes it all come together and makes you feel super welcome. We hope to come back some day!

Fabulous place, with a storied past, an appropriate modern redesign that kept the original structure, and very functional rooms with all the right touches(stayed in one of the two apartments). And Cristina, who served as phone contact, check in hostess, and all round “welcomer” was excellent at her job. Would certainly come back (very well located).

The previous reviews have said it all…this place is among the best we’ve been to. Hospitality is beyond amazing. The breakfast is pure heaven. So glad to be here for 2 nights. I can’t imagine any of our accommodations on our 66-day tour of Portugal will surpass this VERY charming house.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful restored building with great architecture, style, and design. Preserves the past while having all the museum amenities. We stayed in one of the apartments with a veranda. Breakfast had local delights. The best service ever, like being with long lost family. Cristina, the host, was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful. We also met one of the owners and she was a source of delight. We will return. Only caveat is that it's not good for those with limited mobility due to stairs.

On-point rating 9,0 On our way through Portugal we made a two day stop in Figueira de foz. This town actually looks pretty big but can be very calm in winter (when we where there). The town at that period has little to offer except this awesome hotel a casino and for example the very nice puro restaurant by the fort. Also town offers some nice restaurants, but keep in mind sunday even more is closed. The hotel is very new and they have a really nice decor and also an very nice chillout spot with an honesty bar. The breakfast is super, they make fresh cakes and offer other sweets, eggs, meat, cheeses, yoghurts, fruits, really good bread, juices and coffee We stayed in the room first floor when you come up the stairs in the corner left. What they when renovating is keep the seeling open so you can see the construction. It also give the fairly small room a more spacious feeling. The bed is really comfy and shower a bit smallish. We had a bit if bad luck the room we had was noisy due to an sound leak. First night neighbor was cutting amazon and second night neighbors upstair we redesigning the room😉 This said we would definitely come back super hostesses unbelievable sweet Point to improve my opinion: Cover up the full seeling you will not see the construction anymore but it will remove sound problems if done properly. If possible place the guest in opposite rooms so people are nit above or aside each-other (of course only possible in lower occupation applies)
