I had my hair cut at the Lewes salon. I booked a curly hair appointment with Maureen. In saying that I've always come out of a hair salon not being very impressed is an understatement, this was totally different. I explained what I wanted and Maureen listened and made suggestions and got to work. It was great, I loved what she did and how it looked, so full and healthy looking. Cuttlefish is a relaxed setting with a great ethos and the people working seem really nice and friendly. Well worth a visit <3

My first visit to this salon. I’d been searching for a deva curly hair cutter. Steve gave me a wonderful cut, he listened to my wants and cut my hair giving it a whole new life

Brilliant. As a curly haired girl I hate going to normal salons as they always seem to offer and not ask "I'll just straighten out those curls" BUT cuttlefish ...... wow the curl specialist was amazing, knew her stuff, products good for MY hair not just curly hair, the cut was the best cut I have EVER had and I can't wait to go back. I am getting married in 3 weeks and I am so glad I chose to go there to get my hair cut I feel so confident after my visit. All the staff were Brilliant and knew how to 'handle' those previously 'traumatised' by regular salons. 😁

It's a nerve wracking experience going to a new hairdressers for the first time but this salon is just wonderful. Really friendly, great vibes and Juliette who cut my hair is just fabulous. I was fortunate enough to get a last minute appointment with cuttlefish in Lewes after deciding to go for a dramatic restyle. I was made to feel welcome as soon as I stepped foot in the door. It was lovely to watch the artists at work whilst waiting too. My appointment started by having a chat with Chi and then Abbie took me for a wonderful hair wash. Chi got to work sculpting a fringe (my first ever!) before I knew it, my hair was completely transformed and better than I couldve imagined!! Also the eco credentials are amazing, I was so impressed with the materials, products and ethos of the place. My hair was hoovered up and is sent to a supplier that manufacures cushions to absorb oil from the ocean - too cool!! I will be visiting cuttlefish anytime I need hair services from now on. Thank you to the whole team for making me feel like a brand new person x

Cannot speak highly enough of pearl! She was incredibly patient and skilful when detangling and treating my hair. Pearl took what seemed like an impossible task and made it look easy. She is also so kind and easy to talk to, I felt comfortable before I even sat in the chair. The rest of the Cuttle fish staff were also super friendly and the vibe in there was so relaxing and refreshing. 10/10 would recommend :)

Had a really great experience today with Adam, and team. Hadnt had a proper haircut for a while so needed my crazy curly hair brought into line… and Adam chatted through what he thought and seemed effortless doing my cut. V happy with the results, and can highly recommend. Its a cool space, chilled out and really friendly. No pretence just totally on my wavelength.

Am so pleased I found Cuttlefish and in particular Ashley. I've never left the salon feeling anything other than delighted with my style and/or colour. Ashley is (and this is surprisingly hard to find in a hairdresser) the perfect combination of being excellent at cutting, understanding of your hair/lifestyle/look, and a thoroughly lovely person into the bargain.

I have been having my haircut with Ashley for several years now and have continued to see her even now she has moved from Brighton to the Lewes salon. I recently had my haircut from really long to just under my chin and I absolutely love it - Ashley always makes me feel really comfortable and makes sure that she is giving me exactly what I am after, as well as making helpful suggestions. I would never go to anyone else now as I know I can rely on her to make my hair look amazing - would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing hair cut by Ollie today. Reply understood what I wanted but let him take the rains and it turned out beautiful. Will definitely be back!
