I am the aforementioned “grandmother” (at the age of 34, a petty attempt at a jibe after my husband’s review), from your previous comment. Please do post the CCTV and ensure it is with volume so that people can hear and see the owner/shop assistant look me up and down and imply I couldn’t afford to shop there, you will also see 2 adults with 2 toddlers and 2 well behaved children, not in fact the grandmother and five children you claimed. People will be able to see that no jumpers were hung from and no playground was created, only an unnecessarily hostile environment for loyal and longterm customers, that were once again planning on buying equipment for their boats and clothes for themselves. I am sorry I pushed the unlocked door to in order to prevent my toddler running into the road while I shopped, I should have asked permission perhaps. I am also sorry that my toddler moved a plastic petrol can a meter or two from its original spot while I tried to find the correct size of coat to buy her. For years I have recommended your shop, this will no longer be the case.

A great local independent shop with a good range of clothing for boaters, we bought some lovely well priced items here including a great new cap for my husband. The owners are very friendly and helpful. If you are on holiday in Cornwall, and want to update your boating wardrobe this is a great place to shop, it is highly recommended.

An absolute pleasure dealing with this company. Having ordered and received a quality Mousqueton Breton Smock, I decided against the colour I'd chosen and returned the item for a refund expressing a preference for different colour currently out-of-stock. One of my wider families favourite shops to visit when we come over on our boat form further south on the Lizard for an annual shopping trip. This year my wife and her brother were kicked out because they had x2 toddlers with them, which wasn't acceptable apparently. The comments used by the shop assistant were wholly inappropriate. Updated following the owners response - Relocations may vary & fact checking My wife is 34. Referring to her as an ‘older lady’ and ‘their grandmother’ is unnecessary. She (a teacher) was with her brother (40 – local doctor) and 4, not 5 children. Two children were walking toddlers of between 18 and 24 months and so my wife did close the door to the shop in case the toddlers walked out. I believe this is not unreasonable, but she did apologies when asked to open it. The two other children (6 & 8) are two of the nicest and most polite children you could meet and were simply not acting as you describe. The response from the owner is just disappointing.
